signature highlight and replay request
Having the ability to view each made basket (like the 'signature highlights' and 'directors cut' angles) in full view from the beginning of the whole play to the very end showing the players excitement after a nicely made shot or dunk instead of the camera stopping one second after the made basket makes such a difference. So basically extending the whole play to view and of course having the camera angle cut back to the player after the made basket or atleast extending each plays highlight by a few seconds sure would help. Also being able to choose whatever in game camera angle you would like to but I'm sure that wont be possible until hopefully next years release with possibly a menu at the end of the game showing all the made baskets of each player and viewing the play using the in game camera angles (all game signature cameras) but hopefully we can just get each play extended in the 'box score' player highlights. Would be GREAT to have this in have wanted it for years and I wouldnt think it would be to hard being a somewhat simple request feature patch to have put in, showing the whole play from beginning to the very end and having the camera cut back to the player after the made basket. The directors cut doesn't really do the trick most of those replays are so short and the camera doesnt go back to the player after the made basket..It would make such a difference if that option was in the game as I mostly create highlight replays throughout the games I play. I did personally speak to Mr. Mike Wang about this with a back 'n forth conersation regarding my request as he did relay it to the presentation team before release so hopefully if they are listening and reading they could possibly add this, thanks guys!(:Comment

Why it hasn't been implemented in a basketball video game since NBA live 10 is beyond me...but GLOBAL attribute edits from the roster screen would be beyond useful - surely it wouldn't be overly difficult to add. I'd be fine with it in for 2k14. But with the inflated potential of young players, it would make roster makers' dreams if they could just drop the whole leagues potential in a couple minutes rather than hours.
Could do that same to tendencies too - imagine only having to spend a few minutes decreasing all big men's 3PT shooting tendency by 5-10 each off season instead of leaving it, or taking hours to do it.Comment

Please, please, PLEASE, remove the shot queuing of the X button when your player is still corralling a loose ball after you press X to grab it. The X button should NEVER cause a shot until you have full control of the ball, especially when the game practically begs you to spam X to dive for loose balls. The game also often requires two presses of the X to complete a steal, one to knock the ball away and another to actually gather it. It's extremely easy to hit X an extra time and throw the possession away. It's needlessly frustrating and no one would ever shoot full court immediately after trying to scrap for the ball
If this functionality is there to make sure you get the shot off in last second scraps, it should only activate the shot queuing in the last 0:01 second. It causes at least one needless, hair tearing, turnover a game for me, and I've never needed to shoot the ball after gathering a loose ball with less than a second yet.
It was a problem last year but this year it's made even worse by the shot queuing and X button sensitivity during changes of possessions.
EDIT: This includes shot queuing for the shot stick. I just had a game where I was playing active defense using the Right Stick and LT. The opponent dropped the ball, my player picked it up, and immediately shot it because it had queued up my defensive commands as shot commands right when my player made contact with the ball and started his pickup animation.Last edited by Sundown; 10-20-2012, 06:17 AM.Comment

Everything about the passing is improved this year except right stick passing. It passes the ball in another direction than where I intend it to way to often, even on fastbreaks. Just make it work like previous years and passing is all good.Comment

The other thing i was going to add was regarding 2Ks golden child - My Player.
Minutes allocation by the CPU controlled teams, whether its Association or MyPlayer is rubbish.
NOT ALL 5 STARTERS PLAY 34+ MINUTES. I got drafted as an SG on an already stacked SG team, the Mavericks.
I have worked my way to being the 6th man, getting a respectable 18 minutes a game...Below me is Shawn Marian getting 14 minutes, Delonte West getting 10 minutes, Roddy B getting 8, and Elton Brand getting 4 minutes a game.
THAT is ridiculous. A little realism please.
#2 is addressing the Player Roles in Association. Long shot I know, but I play as the Mavs and there is no humanly possible way to keep a core bench unit of Carter, West, Brand and Beaubois happy, since all 4 of them want starters minutes.
Imagine Denver - Chandler is livid because he cant get on the court because CPU Gallinari is getting 36 minutes a game at SF.
Ginobili wants out of San Antonio because Danny Green is the starting SG.
Basically the way the CPU manages minutes and lineups, and player role logic needs to be addressed, because it kills playability, when you have to rebuild your core contributors every off season since they all want out.Last edited by dragula15; 10-18-2012, 09:00 AM.Comment

i would love for post turn around shots to not hit behind the backboards or to the side of it...they fixed that baseline shots already where jump shots would do that same thing they now shoot with a higher arc or over the boards if the shot is very close to the baseline
am tired of hitting x button and left/right to have duncan move pass the rim to shoot behind the boardsHumans fear what they dont understand, hate what they cant concur i guess its just the theory of manComment

I had to lower contest shot to 10, there were too many PG's & SG's that don't block shots jumping (cpu button reading) even if they are at the FT line.True bout my business, Mane!Comment

More collisions on layups and dunk attempts, no more defenders just sliding to the side and getting dunked or layed up on.
Make shot blockers like Ibaka and D.Howard feared in the paint like in 2K12.Comment
