Well explore the game because it is definitely possible on the 360. Just go to MyCAREER and new. I haven't done anything offline.

Honestly, the items aren't really overprice but fair when I think about it. The 5000 cost items are yours forever no matter how many times you start over. If you play the game for a year, that is nothing and you should be able to eventually buy everything without spending one dime.

It won't happen overnight but you can easily farm the VC for any item in one day. Guess what, if life is so busy you can just buy it. Works out for everyone.

I stopped reading at aren't overpriced. A rookie salary in this game can buy you a pair of socks....how is that not overpriced? This thread feels like a lost cause....

I'm not talking about the 500 coin rookie salary because that is totally broken, and you really should start reading the full post especially if you're going to respond to it. I'm talking earning VC in general is so super easy. If you want to play the system you can easily make 10,000-20,000 in a few hours. So again, 5000 coin items are super cheap once you know the system. Why should 2k drop the 5000 item cost when people are just exploiting VC anyway? Me personally I just use the coach mode 12 minutes when I'm not doing anything.

I think what you have here is a flawed chicken before the egg argument. You'll always have people who try to exploit the system but 2k is essentially forcing legit players to either use those same exploits or pay up.

Really, what is the 5,000 coin cost for a sleeve actually achieving? According to your logic it might as well cost 10,000 and that's just a joke.

Legit players can easily earn 5000 coins, every mode earns VC. How about playing the game instead of expecting 2k13 to hand you some underarmor Jersey after 2 games. You would have a valid point if everyone could only play the game for two weeks. You can keep the game for 10 years if you want.

I don't cheat the system but by next month I know every expensive thing in the inventory I will easily earn without paying one cent.

I get sick of hearing people who feel they should be "entitled" to the # 1 pick or should be able to customize their player for free. Just play the game, six months from now everyone will have every item and Lebron will be on everyone's roster for team up.

I'm one of the few more concerned about game play vs not being able to afford gear because, OMG 5000 coins!

All of these glitches not earnin VC after doing something is clearly a ploy to get us to buy VC. Despicable

Eh... I don't buy into the argument at all... You will get your worth of VCs sooner or later if you like the game and actually PLAY THE GAME! I mean I have around 8000 VCs when I start My Player and as a PG I upgraded my LAYUP to MAX 99 and SPEED and QUICKNESS to almost max 95 and I'm balling already with those attributes. So who cares about VCs unless you plan on getting every accessories on earth and cheese on My Team with a 99 player!?? I mean it's not like there's much to do with VCs other than using them on My Player anyway.

Couldn't have said it better myself, I totally agree. On the first day, I admit 5000VC seemed a little intimidating, but once you start playing the game, VC is actually easy to get playing legit.

The point is that they took things which used to be a part of having a myplayer/blacktop and put it behind a paywall. That's not okay.

If it was limited to myteam that's one thing. But it's not.

There is a LOT more to do with VC.. i said it in the first post, MyTeam AND Blacktop. Plus, i ENJOY accessorizing my player, making him an individual, it adds realism to me but i cant afford a shooting sleeve and wristbands AND make my player better, there is no excuse for their pricing. Out rookie contract pays us less than 40 VC per pay day.

You don't have to pay anything. You can have any items you want before the day ends by putting in a few hours. I bet the same guys who wanted the combines and D league are crying about VC. When it comes to the player's salary, I agree 500 coins make absolutely no sense whatsoever but buying the best accessories with boost isn't hard to get at all.

It's a semi turtle race for the gear if you don't play much but like I keep saying, in a few months everybody will have purchased everything from playing the game. VC is a nice edition, plus you can learn the system. Buy the cheap rookies for 850VC, they might land you 10,000 vc after a few nba games.

Hey guys. This VC stuff is frustating me aswell. There is a way to get very easy VC, you can get 2000 VC within a 10-20 min period. If this way has been posted before, I'm sorry.
Step 1: You'll have to create a new mycareer, and play the rookie showcase. You need to average really good stats. I made an athletic PG, and avg'd 10 pts, 5 rebs, and 15 assists, and a B+ teammate grade, and I got over 400 VC every time I did this technique.
Step 2: Play the rookie showcase until around 1 min - 40 seconds left in the 4th. When you reach within that time frame, press start, go to quit and then save and quit.
Step 3: Go back into the rookie showcase, and finish up the game. After it shows how much VC you earned, it will say "Your VC is being saved to the servers" or whatever. Let it do that.
Step 4: Once you hear the interview music, dashboard (if you're on xbox) or just quit the game if you're on PS3.
Step 5: Reload the game, and you'll have the VC that you earned and you can rinse and repeat. I got more than 10k in an hour. Hope you guys enjoy!
