You can earn it fine in myplayer.

Just play well. I'm getting 100+ vc per game. Some games 200, and key games I can get 400 vc.

With that said, I feel like 2k is out for our wallets with VC. Myteam would be so much more fun if it didn't feel like a grind.

Also...I'm not spending a single dollar on this stuff. I'm only buying DLC for NEW content and not stuff already in the game.

U guys think this is bad how about me. I don't have online (texting via my iPhone btw) & I can't get a simple headband or sleeve, change my pregame suit or anything because u can't access the myplayer store or locker if you don't have online. This is 10x worse than what u guys r complaining about. At least u guys can use your earned coins to improve your guys quicker. I don't even get coins.

I just got the game but I don't have online. Is there anyway I can edit what my guy wears (accessories & pregame outfits) in my career? If I go to MyPlayer it says u need online for that. So what are they saying I can NEVER wear accessories or new suits?!?!?!

It's the principle. Spending $20 isn't a big deal to a lot of people. However, where do they draw the line? Is everyone gonna have to fork out another $20 just to compete? And next year $40? That completely unfair and hell idk, immoral? Lol. Either pay up or deal with losing? Is that what it's come to? Yeah, 2K took out crew but they are handing out 99 overalls just like hackers. Why don't I just pay my opponents to quit? Sounds like a better idea lol. Either way, 2K just opened the flood gates. I called this crapstorm the second I heard about purchasable vc...

I am not getting any VC at all for doing Association or Exhibition game modes on the PS3. I am online and have been using my Association that's on my 2k cloud or whatever. But I do get VC for Mycareer mode. It's pretty infuriating. I did get VC for one exhibition and one association game once but I haven't received any since for doing those games. I play 5 min quarters on All Star.

What bugs me is that I can't give my myplayer accessories without spending VC on them. It's dumb that that my guy cant wear an undershirt, compression shorts, wristbands or a headband without paying VC for it... So dumb. So I have to choose if I want to improve my player or add accessories... thanks 2k.

That'd be ridiculous if true. It certainly seems to be the case, but I'm still in the midst of figuring out how everything works, so I cannot say for sure. My wonder is why 2K couldn't provide a full offline MyPlayer experience while still providing the opportunity to play online if one so desired. I imagine there's still a heaping of gamers who cannot or do not have online Xbox access, so to limit the playability of an entire game seems a bit outrageous.

2k focused too much on the tryhard online casuals this year, and steered away from our community. I mean, ever since release, I haven't seen 1 post from a dev. They just jump ship until post patch and see what happens.

I am frustrated as well about the VC issues. I must say I've accumulated 1,000 quick in MyTeam with people quitting by the third quarter lol but MyPlayer is so hard to get coins I've only tried one game.

I also feel for the guys offline. What happens if like yesterday Xbox has problems and just disconects? These developers tying everything to online is not the way to go.

I might be the only one, but I like that they offer the option to pay for boosts. I'm a working adult and when I play games I want to enjoy myself. I don't want to grind for hours to be able to get a shirt I want or a headband.

In every mode you earn VC! So I love it. Takes time to earm a lot & that makes me want to play more. Im a gamer that plays 2k the entire yr tell the next game. VC will keep me wanting to play more. The fact that I can play Rank matches online (which I do 90% of time) & still earn VC to upgrade my My Player is a huge + for me.

I agree. And to be honest, I understand the argument behind a game requiring gamers to achieve in order to unlock boosts or extras. However, accessories are not boosts or extras. It's what a player wears when they play basketball. It's a strange turn away from realism in an area where it'd seem so easy to get it right. Is Anthony Davis beginning his career wearing nothing but a jersey, shorts, socks, and generic shoes because he can't afford compression shorts? So why would it possibly make sense to apply such logic to MyPlayers?

From a personal standpoint, this is one of my biggest issues altogether. Buying wristbands is nonsensical, but I can live with it. However, my internet connection is terribly fickle. If I lose a connection on my computer, it'll just reconnect after a minute. However, if my XBox is disconnected mid-experience, it doesn't reconnect and any progress I was making is often thereby erased. I already had a Michael Jordan 49 point, 12 assist game erased because my internet disconnected while 2K was auto-saving everything against my will. Frustrating.

I have no problem with VC. It has me playing game modes I would normally not touch, like MyPlayer and Association. Also the whole UT knock off too.

The question however is when does a paid boost become too much of an advantage over people who simply do not want to pay. The reason i havent bought VC has nothing to do with the time i have to play or how much money i have, it is just simply the concept that i dont want to support using money to beat someone instead of skill. I know if i bought all my favorite players i would SCRAPE online, but what fun is that, i was having fun using guys i would NEVER usually play. With that said, i understand if certain VC stuff was purchased with real money, but leav that out of MyTeam, but its these matchups that frustrate us: (LOL at the fact that i won)
