Dude I can run from end to end, baseline to baseline, in under 5 seconds.. And I am nowhere even close to being a pro level athlete., Shaq could probably out run me.. The players on 2K are nowhere close to that

not for me. after u get use to it, the players are moving a little too fast on default. the game is so smooth, it was hard to notice at first. but after a while it was like 48 minutes of fastbreak basketball.

I've noticed it as well, and I might consider lowering this slider once I've playee more... Do you then get realistic stats, and ammount of PPG?

I used to play 8 minute quarters, but now seeing everyone else plays 12 minute quarters I feel a little foolish not to do the same

Actually didn't Devin Harris do a full court sprint with the ball in 3.8 seconds or something ridiculous like that? Most my guys on 2K get to half court in that amount of time

lol i been playing 12 minutes since 2k8. if i cant play 12 min a quarter i wont play the game period.

yeah my stats are much more realistic now and much better for the cpu. before, the cpu was shooting as much as 100 shots per game. even i threw up 90 something in my first game.

now were both in the normal 70 to 80 something range.

so with that, and a tweak to the rebounding, my stats are on point.

the fast players still get down the court fast like there supposed too. but on default, there were many a times that Pau Gasol was leading my fast break.

thats a no-no in my book. lol

8 mins is perfect

12 minutes is too long and i always end up with like 120+ points every game

12 minute quarters with simulation sliders yield the best results. It provides for a nice pace to the game and realistic stats for both teams.

Used to use 8 minute quarters. Stats were a tad low. Went to 9 minutes. Stats seem realistic every time. This is default Simulation sliders. I'm sure if you tweak game speed and sliders then 12 minutes would work but on all star simulation sliders at 12 minutes teams would be scoring 120-130 every game.

Players are WAY to slow as it is.. Lowering them just makes it even worse

Right now I'm on 5 because I want to get as many games in as possible in a tight real life schedule. But this weekend, I'm going to up it to 12.

12 is just so long and the scores are high. Played 8 minutes in 2k10, and 11 last year played 9 minutes and scores were too low. My player 12 seems perfect takes about an hour a game. Association probably try 10 and 12 to see how long it takes and the final scores.
