This year's Lebron definetly ranks high in the all-time most domninant video game athletes. (VICK 04 MADDEN, BO JACKSON TECMO BOWL..ETC) But he can be stopped. You just have to know how to play Lebron. Seriously he can't buy a jumpshot from the right side of the court. He plays just like his real counterpart so just watch the games on t.v. But if anyone actually watched basketball who's in this forum you would see that Lebron was virtually unstoppable in real life last year(let's not forget.) so the whining that he is too good is ridiculous. Put on your thinking cap and find a way to beat the heat. NOT HARD PEOPLE.

All of you complaining about spin dunks smh..I haven't seen one this whole time I've played, also use Zone defense if they're "cheesing" too much, force them to shoot.

i've gone zone. didnt matter. he goes THRU Your defenders no matter who they are. thats why its silly.

oh and did you forget anyone with a B outside rating is MONEY if they're open in their little red area. even if they're arent wide open still money if LBJ crashes into the paint then kicks it out. i shouldnt have to go zone when i am getting in front of the guy stopping his momentum but the game says i'm not and lets him run me over time and time again.

lbj is virtually unstoppable becuase he can pass so well. while still scoring. these people are just bull dozing everyone.
LBJ cant run thru dwight and batum and kobe. sorry thats not happening. but it did on 2k my team.

and no he doesnt miss because if he misses in the paint after bulldozing its a foul on you. then he's hot and he starts hitting jumeprs from all sides of the court.

LBJ is virtually unstoppable in the game but i figured a way to reduce the dunks . While playing.online as the Knicks vs LBJ himself , i just stripped him with a guard everytime he came in the paint . This usually works sometime but he is unstoppable like i said so he will get a few dunks in . Just gotta time it right tho lol

And as you can imagine , we lost that game ..

I make Delonte West guard him.

I use the Cavs when my opponents pick Miami or any over-used team.

But there red area isn't everywhere on the court..unless its Allen. Also I'm assuming the cheeser is just turboing in order to get into the paint, just let the CPU guard him, expend there energy for no reason and they get nowhere.

Aaaaannnd THIS is why I won't be playing this game online. It's utter garbage. With 2k12, I'd say i Faced about 95% cheesers out of over 400 games played.

It's not the game that's the problem, decent players know there are exploits, but we don't need them to win, nor do we wish to use them as we play by some sort of virtual sim sportsmanship, which sadly, the majority of online games do not care about.

Probably because half the stuff that happens online can be fixed by the developers but they choose not to. and playing the AI is not as fun imo.

i program software pretty often, you mean to tell me, you can't turn down spin dunk success? Up and under success? People like perkins shouldn't be able to euro step and I dont want to see steve nash catching his own lobs and scoring them. etc etc. yeh they can.

They've proven a willingness to eliminate exploits such as this year after year while not alienating their ENTIRE user base.

But that has nothing to do with what was quoted or what he was mentioning. It's the battered wife syndrom - you people KNOW there are randoms who buy this game and that is how they choose to play this game and instead of finding people who you DO enjoy playing against, you still play these same individuals and complain about the way they play.

Do you put your finger over a flame then complain that it hurts? Maybe it is too hot??

Use some logic here. Realize you have no control over HOW other people will choose to play this game. The sooner you do, the sooner you realize that blaming the company who makes this game isn't the reason you are unhappy. Because once they fix one thing, you will just move "onto the next one" and find something else to complain about.

Heck, we have a great thread in the Online Sub-Forum where you can find others here who want a good, sim-oriented competitive game.
