They've proven a willingness to eliminate exploits such as this year after year while not alienating their ENTIRE user base.

But that has nothing to do with what was quoted or what he was mentioning. It's the battered wife syndrom - you people KNOW there are randoms who buy this game and that is how they choose to play this game and instead of finding people who you DO enjoy playing against, you still play these same individuals and complain about the way they play.

Do you put your finger over a flame then complain that it hurts? Maybe it is too hot??

Use some logic here. Realize you have no control over HOW other people will choose to play this game. The sooner you do, the sooner you realize that blaming the company who makes this game isn't the reason you are unhappy. Because once they fix one thing, you will just move "onto the next one" and find something else to complain about.

Heck, we have a great thread in the Online Sub-Forum where you can find others here who want a good, sim-oriented competitive game.

I understand you, and agree, and don't really care THAT much..I still have good games online and this game is pretty good. I just don't like it when there are certain specific things in the game that have no counter. If someone is gonna cheese A, B, or C, at least give me D, E and F if its gonna stay in the game. Westbrook doing up and under 10 feet from the basket and wetting it everytime? lol stepping through 3 people with the up and under like olajuwon but he's 6'3". In before I suck. I actually don't lose a lot on any 2k game, but this kinda stuff is whack lol.

OS is such a complaint forum. Kids online are no different than my friends who come over and just want to score 90 with LBJ. Unstoppable? No. Annoying? Yes.

If you guys would just join a sim league, or find cats here on OS to play, you would find a much more pleasurable experience online. It doesn't matter how much a game is intended to be sim if the user is a douche.

You find any reason to call something "cheese" because you can't play how YOU want to play. Get real.

yes he wont mvp. yes lbj is a beast. yes lbj sometimes gets away with bulldozing people.
but not every..single time. no nba player has ever been unstoppable. kobe getting 81 looked unstoppable by weak defenders, but that was ONE game out o his entire career. everyone has great games. but LBJ shouldnt be able to just ram into other legends and score at will that would not happen. LBJ aint going to get past batum a very good long and athletic young defender, while kobe is helping him while dwight howards is waiting for him in the paint. not going to happen. not even lbj is that good. no one is.

WRONG. yes they can make a game where cheese and exploits will not be enough to win games. they have yet to create a game like that. but its possible. to do so will run off a lot of the "casual " gamers. do i care? NOPE> but 2k does $$$$. imagine if you had to know the sport to beat someone who does, at it. that wouldnt be fun to those that want to win at all cost. but it would be fun to us who know the game and understand everyday isnt your day but you had fun playing it like it really is played.
