He had a 26 pt game last year where he was lighting it up from deep. He's definitely worked on his game since he was in the dunk contest, and not only can he shoot now, but he also has a decent post game too.

No where near as good as he is in the game though...props to him for working hard to get back in the NBA and not just getting by on highlights though.

i see, thanks for the info fam. All i saw last year was that sick oop in that one game, but I knew he earned his way back in the league. Didn't think he got better all around. Props to him for recognizing what it takes and working on his game.

Beasley. He shot 100% in the first half against me. And before anyone tries to say the cliche "you just need to learn to play better, play better defense herp derp" Keep in mind:

I acquired Kyrie Irving in offline Association (I sim all games per season) and he has won 7 MVPs in a row. Seven.

He routinely puts up 30+ ppg and 12+ apg, with 2+ spg. Absolutely nuts.

He's a really nice player in real-life, but Thaddeus Young is incredible in this game. I drop an easy 30 every game with this dude.

In MyCareer I'm a PG playing on the 76ers. Nick Young and J.Rich, insane. I can't even remember either of them missing an open 3 all year, and I'm in the playoffs now. Young will even pull 3's in traffic and/or off the dribble, nylon every time.

And like someone else said, Thaddeus Young is a total BEAST for me. At least one posterizing dunk per game, puts in work on the boards, on D, hits the midrange, does work in the post.

But yeah, Young and J.Rich shots rarely even hit rim, just splash every time.

In MyCareer I'm a PG playing on the 76ers. Nick Young and J.Rich, insane. I can't even remember either of them missing an open 3 all year, and I'm in the playoffs now. Young will even pull 3's in traffic and/or off the dribble, nylon every time.

Yeah I played for the sixers too but demanded a trade because every time I simmed Doug Collins benched me. My favorite players were j-rich and wright because when I got doubled they stayed on the perimeter so easy 3 point shot and assists

JR and Monta are definitely the biggest ones for me. Smith routinely scores 30+ off the bench in MyCAREER, and I had Monta score 56 on 69% shooting from the floor on another occasion...insane.

It's not just that some guys are overpowered, it's more so that some don't play to their true rating. Hibbert is rated an 86 (i think?) in game but in MyCAREER he is one of the softest centers i've played with. He's tentative to the basket, rarely uses his size to his advantage and constantly takes fadeaway jumpers. He's averaging around 6 boards a game for a Celtics team that's really weak on the boards.

All in all, I can forgive those missteps since they have guys like Rondo playing a perfect representation of himself in real life. In past iterations of 2K I had a whole lot of trouble playing with guys like him since the game just didn't cater to his style; this year you really feel like you can use him as he should be.

O.J. Mayo. Watch out for this dude. He's another beast when it comes to shooting, especially in 3 points and mid-range. He'll make those 90% of the time.

My issue here isn't that questionable players go off for insane games. It's that they go off every time I play them.

Yeah, Jordan Crawford has 20 - 30 point game every once in a while. But he has one every-single-time I play him.
