Since 2k12 Paul has been signing with the Cavs in my Associations. Also in 2k13 Dwight always leaves L.A.

As far as Kevin Martin resigning with the Rockets I usually switch to the Rockets make him a Benchwarmer (to decrease his morale) go into edit player make him a starter than right click benchwarmer him again. That'll get his morale to 0 and he wont resign with Houston. You can do that with a few other players that aren't resigning in real life too.

I think it's cool that stuff like that happens. Not like the real outcomes of the NBA can be predicted with great accuracy, so why expect it from a game that represents the NBA? There was a time when no one thought Lebron would leave Cleveland. And look where we are today. And I bet no one saw Dwight Howard in LA a few years ago. Yet here we are.

Yea but they already have Kyrie on the team.It wouldnt be that big of deal to me if that wasnt the case because i understand it is a video game. Although i think they need to add a way to make star players have factors on who they sign with depending on different things like what the player is looking for whether it be a big market,money,ring etc or a combo of things.

In association mode, the Cavaliers actually signed Chris Paul during FA when they already have Kyrie Irving.
They gave Kyrie the 6th man role the following season and he expressed how terrible of an organization the Cavs are and demanded a trade lol.

Yeah they need to fix it in general because you can get someone pretty easily in association if you clear cap space. You can make a major haul. I got Dwight in Houston, too.

It's not that simple. Superstar veteran players just don't go to rebuilding teams in free agency. When has that ever happened?

Don't forget the Cavs have Byron Scott as coach who was CP3's first coach. If they really did that move he'd play them both in the backcourt at the same time.

I used to user control the FA period after they signed. CP3 always went to Cleveland.

on mycareer CP3 went to the cavaliers as usual just like in 2k12 but dwight howard signed with the hornets which gave them an unstoppable front court of anthony davis as PF and howard as C lol

The only thing I can think of is the fact that Byron Scott likes 2 PG rotations- at least that was the case when he was in NO. Of course Paul would start but he'd sub in a bench PG to play next to him for most of the game.

With that said, I wonder how much this has to do with coach profiles. Each coach has a preference to either guards or forwards.

He always signs with the Cavs or Pistons no matter what. Dwight switched it up on me today though and signed with the Clippers.

He has signed there in nearly every My Player/ MyCareer/ Association. Once he joined the Raptors though. My my player was on that team in 2k12 when it happened.

Dwight Howard also has a tendency to leave, at least in 2k13. He's joined the Rockets a couple times, and the Nuggets once.

He went to Toronto on mines too...D12 went to Cleveland and lebron went to Detroit
