It's insane that the poll is even this close. Or that it necessitated a poll in the first place.

I assume the tweak also affects offline? If so, I was still getting a few ridiculous steals with Steph Curry-- including two on the fast break from behind in one game.

I am with the majority of people in this thread - Leave it where its at online, slightly decrease it for those game modes offline where players cannot alter sliders (my career, create a legend). But DO NOT I repeat, DO NOT decrease the reach in foul slider for online.

This has been my single biggest complaint about this game for YEARS! (The only complaint I've had that even comes close to the steal spamming complaint is the rubber band AI/way overdone "runs" and "hot/cold streaks") Also, as others have mentioned, this has been a common complaint for years and I have never seen a thread about it that 2k was actively involved in, yet mere days after the change, 2k is already potentially rethinking it?? That doesn't seem logical to me.

2K listen the patch definitely helped the spamming steal button issue, just turn down the foul tendency a little bit so that we can actually press the steal button on HOF without being called for a foul every time...good job just turn it down a little...as for offensive rebounds, that still needs work

I run with the Clippers and played 3 games tonight. Just as a test I tried to steal ONCE playing on ball defense. In all 3 games I got called for fouls.

You said "We know what you want,you want it all and we are going to give it to you." in the tv spot, i call b.s! It only takes 3 swips to get called for a foul and anything after that is way to hard to get away with. When i play i like to feel i can do anything and get away with it, if i wanna get 10 steals in a game so be it! what harm does it do,its called escapism. If i wanna play with "realistic" setting then i will put it on hall of fame mode, or play like a beast and kill it ever game i will go pro., it should be up to me and not you. I hope nbalive comes back soon to give us gamers more options and you competition. You did better with a rival... and get over yourself 2k its just a Game JUST LET US PLAY!

This steal issue we are talking about is primarily about online gaming, if you are playing by yourself then turn the sliders down! And please, I'm being blinded by your Font, rein it back in please.

Its like every time you swipe the ball even just once, a ref will whistle you a reaching foul and IT FREAKIN' SUCKS! I CAN'T ENJOY MY GAME.

I have never seen CP3, RONDO, or WESTBROOK go for a steal on their man every single time down the court let alone 3 to 5 times in one possession. If u square your man up and anticipate his move u will have a small window for a steal like it should be.
Just because u have 99 steal rating and pickpocket doesn't mean u should always get a steal or not called for a foul. If u don't have good position it should be a foul.
PLEASE 2K DON'T CHANGE A THING MAYBE PEOPLE WILL LEARN HOW TO PLAY CORRECT DEFENSE LIKE PLAYING ANGELS AND STAYING IN FRONT OF THEIR MAN INSTEAD OF JUST GOING FOR STEALS.

The steal rate for MC is horrible. I don't mind being called for a reach in but in 10 consecutive games, I fouled out. Every attempt I tried to steal I got called for.

I do not play online so I cannot comment on how people play there but for MC, it's turned up far too high.

This happens EVERY YEAR,online players complain about spam this and cheese that and 2K comes in and tweaks something to satisfy them, seemingly completely disregarding the other people that play other game modes(MyCareer, MyTeam, Create-A-Legend) where you can't adjust sliders either. They did the same thing with charges after 2k10 or 11, now you rarely see charges. The rate needs to go down some, I get tired of my teammates getting a reach in foul every time they attempt a steal in MC, even the CPU team is collecting fouls at an extremely high rate.
