Re: NBA 2k14 Soundtrack Wishlist Thread
TBH I don't care as long as they let us add our own music, like we make a playlist on the console, then we can add that playlist. After a few days with 2K13 I just turned the music off and would play my own playlists.MIAMI HEATComment

Not really talking about the soundtrack, but could you please decompress the music? It sound like you put the music in a tin can! Add some bass! Increase the quality!Comment

Re: NBA 2k14 Soundtrack Wishlist Thread
I don't hate Hip Hop music but it would be nice if they incorporated some more Rock music into the game. Europe's "The Final Countdown" is always played at the end of really close games in the NBA, it would be cool if they played that same Europe snippet during really close games in 2K14. Also, I'd like to hear more accurate sound bytes during games like for example: in Celtics Home games, it would be nice to occasionally hear "Let's Go Celtics" clap clap clap clap clap. As for other bands, Muse has some really powerful songs that would really work well in a Basketball context. Muse's "Uprising" from the Resistance album would be awesome in 2K14. I know that Rock music hasn't always had a place in NBA 2K games, it would be nice to hear some incorporated though. Arctic Monkey's "I Bet That You Look Good on the Dance floor" has been used in some NBA commercials a few years ago. I personally would think that song would be awesome in next year's 2K game. I'm biased of course since I love the Arctic Monkeys but knowing 2K and their patterns of the years; we're probably only going to get one or two Rock songs at most.MyTeam Lineup: New York Bullet Club

The music is most likely compressed so as not to take up too much of the 360's meagre 8gb disc allowance. Quality should improve next gen.Comment

I hope so. Part of the reason I hate the soundtracks so quickly is because the aren't so easy on the ears.Comment

Re: NBA 2k14 Soundtrack Wishlist Thread
I think it would be cool to add some music that the players themselves are making now. Guys like Marquis Daniels, Steven Jackson, Iman Shumpert, Metta, Glen Davis, KD, Louis Williams (has a song with Meek Mill I believe) are all some that have been making music. While some might not be the greatest, I would rather hear that that some of the other stuff, like all Jay-Z. Or have a contest for smaller rappers that are trying to get their name out there and have a few songs dedicated to the top entry's that get the most votes.Comment

No offense, but have you watched an NBA game lately brother? I've never heard a bunch of kids in a locker room say "Rock and Roll gets me hyped before game" Maybe shane Battier, buts about it..hahaaa
http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.c...-and-some-dmx/About 90 minutes before Thursday’s home game against the Dallas Mavericks, LeBron James walked over to the stereo system in the Miami Heat’s locker room, inserted his music device and pumped up the volume loud enough to send vibrations through a nearby dry-erase board.Nuff said....
There was Wu-Tang Clan’s “Bring The Pain.”
Then came Jay-Z’s “Reservoir Dogs.”
By the time a compilation of DMX’s greatest hits blasted through the speakers, James had pounded and paced himself into a sweat-lathered, rhythmic routine that more resembled a boxer preparing for a big fight than a basketball player anxiously hoping to lead his team onto the court and out of a slump.
