I love how you Boston idiots act like you're so much better with Rondo, you were barely .500 when he got injured. Your old bums couldn't do crap regardless.

About this, pick the pacers all you want all I know is we just went on a 30-2 run against the #2 defense in the league.

          Re: Paul George

As a lifelong Pacer fan, I have to give the Knicks the edge because I know the league is a business first and foremost. It's better for business if the Knicks advance because more fans live there. I bought tickets on stub hub for game one of the Atlanta series for $5 a piece lol.

I was quite frankly shocked that Hibbert wasn't on the bench with two fouls within the first two minutes of game two because that's how it was done by the officials in the old days - especially with all the complaining about the officiating in game one. Maybe that's a good sign the league is better in that regard.

My favorite thing about the NBA these days is that you can basically put a choke hold on a guy underneath to get a rebound but you can't twitch a hip on a screen 25 feet from the basket.

That being said, they are both good defensive teams but what I don't understand is that I thought I saw Jason Kidd on Paul George a few times and he's like 40 years old now yet he didn't isolate him.

In any case, I see the Pacers losing game three to lose home court and the series going seven games with the Pacers getting crushed in game 7.

The achilles heal that the Knicks will soon discover is the high pick and roll with whoever Paul George is guarding by Hibberts man.

Yeah, I am pessimistic but hopeful the Pacers will win but prepared for the inevitable.

I see, now that convinced me. All facts of course. Let's apply your logic to me evaluating other teams as the Mavs fan I am: Rooting for Dallas means Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Gregg Popovich are just some old f*cks on some a**hole team, right?
I mean they're supposed to be "rivals", at which point I'm supposed to shut off my brain completely and rely on cheap insults?
Or, just a crazy thought...maybe I could appreciate Tim Duncan as arguably the greatest PF of all time and Pop as the coaching genius he is?

"Old bums couldn't do crap regardless"...yeah, right...let's look at some actual facts:

Garnett averaged 12.7 points/13.7 rebounds on 50 FG% in the series against the Knicks. Impressive at 36, not a bum.

Terry averaged 12 points per game on actually slightly better efficiency than during the Mavs title run. His usage is lower, which has to be expected, but he's still an incredibly efficient scorer if shooting at a lower volume. Not a bum.

Pierce had a bad series of course. 19/5/5 while being horribly inefficient. On the Celtics, it's the performance of an old bum. On the Knicks though, it's called 6th man of the year.

Do you really believe the Celtics playing that badly has nothing to do with missing a PG that will give you something like 15/6/10 while playing reliable defense?
Paul Pierce's ridiculous 5 turnovers per game are actually to be expected since he's an old bum and not because the lack of any true PG left on the team forced him to handle the ball more than his skillset should allow?
Do you even know that with Rondo out, Pierce was forced into a usage% he only had literally a decade ago? Of course you don't.

If you're that much of a Knicks "fan", what about representing your organization by showing respect towards other teams and their fans instead? Seriously, would KG/Terry/Pierce be useless bums to you if they put up the same numbers on your Knicks? Of course not. And that's the point.

you really need to calm down and stop insulting people,

frankly at this point i question your knowledge of basketball.

btw, knicks get gift calls, any perosn who watches a knicks game will tell you that, even stephen a smith called out the refs on national TV for gifting the knicks calls vs boston...

I feel he should be up around 87. 83 is just too low for a rising superstar.

As good and talented as George truly is...I'm still not convinced that him handling the ball as much as this year should be considered his ideal role.
It's not that he's inefficient due to increased usage. His scoring is fine and will improve further, but his pretty high turnover numbers are mainly caused by the problematic point guard situation.

Maybe the Pacers can get more depth at PG in the summer, right now that's the only thing preventing them from being credible contenders. Do they have enough cap space to make a run at someone like Calderon?

I think Paul George needs to feel more like Rudy Gay not a Center. His jumpshot isn't even right it should be John Stockton's release. Also why haven't they even put on his accessories yet the said they will have everything even down to the players new tattoos.

I like PG but I think 83-85 is pretty good for what he is.
I would like to see speed/quickness upped a little bit though.
