I recommend
1.Lebron James' release and Andre Iguadala's jumper.(if your player is a SF or SG)
2.release 71 and jump shot 17 (currently on my SG 3pt specialist, works like a charm)

Don't get 'the best'. Make it personal and choose something you like, not what other say it's best. It's more fun that way.

Some very quick releases are: 42 (Smoove) 72, C. Anthony, R. Allen
If you want a follow through: Releases 29, 57. L. James
If you want a base where you are falling away or kind of fading try: 25, 26 (Smoove), K.Bryant
If you want elevation try bases: 8, R. Gay
And if you want a high release use A. Igoudala

Try mixing and matching these releases and bases based on the type of shot you would like to create, just some of my personal suggestions but there are many more to choose from.

Release: Jordan

Really high release its also quick. Being that it's Kobe and MJ it works with the fadeaway and the post is pretty damn good too. Don't know why people are saying LeBron for a jumpshot if it was pure raw athleticism yeah I could understand.

I don't remember what base I use but it's one with a ton of elevation and I use Ray Allen's release.

KD/MJ/Kobe are my favorites, smooth, fast and clean. I got Rudy Gays jumpshot though, the one you can buy. Seems the most reasonable (I like how he plays in game) for the price lol.



Would be cool if 2K implemented something (up to the player) to actually work on your jumpshot throughout the years.


I can get Kobes/MJ's release and everything without using any vc. That alone makes it way too easy to score. Even with a 65 overall you put up 30 ppg.
