Re: Best Starting Five to Fit Your Style?

Lebron could obviously be on everyone's team but this is what fits ur playstyle.... For me I like a solid shooter at sg like Kobe... I like a real floor general ball handler like Rubio and at sf I prefer a defense minded hustle player that cuts and sits for kick out 3s.... In the post I like 2 7fts with actually post moves and can hit an open mid not standing Dunkers like Howard... So for me lebron doesn't fit my style of play

Could I add him and make it work ... Yes of course but is it the style I prefer no

Re: Best Starting Five to Fit Your Style?

                      Chris Paul-PG
At the PG spot, I want a guy who makes things GO, both on offensively and on D. Chris is a natural passer who makes it look easy. He's also an underrated perimeter defender capable of defending quick point guards, he also plays the passing lanes well and can get out in transition.

                      Kobe Bryant-SG
At the 2. I want someone who can flat out score the basketball. Even if he's aging, Kobe's athleticism is still there, which can let him go up and down the court and run the break effectively. Another underrated defender, Kobe is easily capable of defending the opposing teams best perimeter player. A high IQ player, I can't go wrong with the black mamba.

                      Kevin Durant-SF
Most people would have put Lebron in this spot, but he does his work with the ball in his hands, and since I have Cp3. I'm choosing the Durantula, who can be effective OFF the ball. He can run off screens and knock it down of the feed from either Kobe or Chris, and he's also an exceptional spot up shooter. But when the time comes, he can also take over a game when need be. At 6 foot 11 KD has tremendous ball handling ability and the ability to run the break either as the ball handler, or the runner.

                      Tim Duncan-PF
The best PF in the history of basketball, Tim Duncan, even in his old age. Can still play with the best of them. He has a complete offensive game, with an array of low post moves to assault you with, and the ability to step out and hit a jumpshot. One of the best pick n roll bigmen in the game, he can either free up room for one of the ballhandlers, or free up room for himself, to either cut to the basket, or space out for a three. A bigman with the ability to pass, Tim Duncan can find cutting players for easy layups. Or make the quick pass out of the paint for the 3 pointer. He is also equally capable on defense as he is on offense. A capable rim-protecting Shot blocker.

                      Roy Hibbert-C
In my opinion, one of the best people to pair Duncan with, Roy Hibbert is a 7 foot 2 behemoth. With his height, shot blocking and shot altering becomes second nature, his sheer size helps greatly on both the offensive and defensive glass. Like Tim Duncan, Roy Hibbert is a great low-post threat with many moves to take advantage of almost any low-post defender.

A starting 5 capable of running any type of offense and defensive system. With a twin tower pair in Duncan and Hibbert, scoring with Kobe and Durant, and a PG that can run the show in Chris Paul.

                              1. CP3 is a slightly above average on-ball defender, and i mean just barely.

                              2. kobe isn't much better than cp3

                              3. lebron is the most un selfish superstar there is. 40% 3pt this year who says he needs the ball? --better defender than KD...seems you want defense...also gives you a backup PG

                              4. duncan, shooting threes?

                              5. did you just say roy hibbert was a GREAT low post scorer with tons of moves....and compared him to duncan who you claim to be the greatest PF of all time?

hibbert 40% fg in the post this season and 62% with hooks, meaning he has NOTHING but that hook shot.....

no offense, but you smokin some crack or somethin?
