Re: Which 2K did you have the most fun with and which did you have the least with?

I honestly can't remember 2k9 or 2k10. I would say 2k12 is hands down the worst basketball game that I have played in a long time. As with 2k13 there are a lot of movement issues I had with the game. I swear that 95% of the games (especially against the cpu) where I am winning convincingly seem to turn into Let The Losers Have Fun Too Mode! I lose almost every 4th quarter I play when I win the other 3. I learned to just stand there and run a play with 10 seconds left, rinse and repeat. On the other hand, my opponent is having the most fun ever getting weird shots to drop, getting and1's easily and forcing turnovers from situations I can't CONTROL anymore because the game makes me move where it wants me to be! It also happens close to the half and this is in 2k12 and 2k13.

NBA 2K11 was the best on so many levels. I played that game until I got 2k12 and would still go back and play it even into the first two weeks of 2k12 being released and even more when I realized how crap 2k12 was.

Remember when everyone was in 2k11 heaven and it was getting closer to 2k12 time and in the back of your head you would think, " If 11 was this good then 2k12 could be the most epic game ever"? I do.

2k14 will be 13 with extra glitter, Lebron's iPod playlist, a couple things that USED to ALREADY be in the game like "blocking ability"(lol BS) regular online season and crew, four patches to get it out of BETA MODE and a new navigation method.

I wonder what will be taken out of the game this year?
Playing NBA 2K feels like a job that pays minimum wage and then cuts your pay when you get your Bill's right to make it even harder to succeed. I do not like this game but it's the only one in town.

At cheese, I'm trash. At basketball, I'm great!

NBA 2K11 is easily one of the best basketball games I've ever played period which is why me and my friends still try to mess around on my player pick up games on there. Sure it had problems but I'd still rather deal with all the hacks on there instead of playing any of the games after it.

NBA 2k13 had to be the worst one. A whole lot of rage, minimal fun. Too much offense not enough defense and too many people claiming skill and superiority after BS cheesy wins.

Im a big online cheeser so obviously 2k11 and 2k10 with the hopstepping and 2k8 with spin moves and dunking.

2k12 was easily the worst. Online was crappy and coming off 2k11 it was a huge disappointment

Really amazed on how much people say 2K12 was bad. It was a challenge, but it was worth it once you learned the tricks of the trade. 2K13 is truly where it was bad for the sim head, you can make shots easily, the iso-stick was not even hard, but everyone dribbled the same, and you don't even need to use your entire team as long as you knew one guys shot release.

But like I always say, sliders/community works make everything better, so that's probably why 2K13/2K12 will always be there in terms of my Library instead of tradability.

My favorite 2k by far was 2k11. It was the first year I actually played crew and had a blast. I also liked how there were online leagues and not online association. It was much more enjoyable for me having a 12 team league with my friends than having 12 friends and 18 cpu teams.

My least favorite 2k was 2k12. During the first few months I really lacked motivation in playing the game with the combination of the lockout and crew being gone. I just could not get into that game.

sad part is in that devin going ham video, I can still see 2k13 like gamplay in there..... Devin just running right through carlson, dunking over him like he wasn't even there.... The only difference between that video and 2k13 is devin ham being in the game.

2K4 must have had the worst stick dribbling system ever.

Had the most fun on 2K11.

                      Least fun on 2K12.

                          2k11 and 2k9 were the best/most fun.

2k12 was pretty bad. They took out a lot of basic features for no reason. I see 2k13 as a slightly better version of 2k12.

I think 2k11 was by far the best representation of basketball. The game played very well on both sides of the ball, especially defense. But for some reason, Defense has been awful in the last two games.

With that being said, 2k12 pre patch was terrible. It was unplayable with the steal spamming and the horrendous passing. Post patch it was alright. In 2k13, aside from the bad defense and the 3 point cheese online, It is very enjoyable. And 2k really opened up the offensive side of the ball with all the new shot stick moves.

I would say 2k10 was the least enjoyable. It was a dunkfest online, I remember people taking lebron and running in a half circle to the baseline holding turbo and the defenders weren't capable of keeping up. Baseline dunk every time

2k11 is great, BUT the lack of offensive rebounding knocks that game down for me. Is there a slider-based fix for this problem? I've never found one.

I'd have to say the best is 2k13 for me actually. I always think they add new things that, for me, enhance the gameplay so I can never go back and enjoy an earlier version.
