hopefully they fix the spin layups. There is absolutely no collision for it. No matter how many people are infront of the player they can spin right through you every time if they get to the right spot. It makes it worst that any player can do it with a very high success rate.

Putting the spin/up n under moves as a double button press was the worst idea yet from 2k in a long time

yep, you can pretty much get any good dunker and spin dunk on any defense 24/7.

i'm not too optimistic about online ever being truly skill/strategy-based. at this point it seems like the corporate suits at 2k are committed to dumbing down the game online for children and adults who are bad at video game basketball. unfortunately, things get dumbed down for the lowest common denominator, and those people are a large majority at this point. hopefully in 2k14 success online will be more performance-based than 2k13, but i think the game will always somewhat allow people to get their scoring runs without having to get good shots.

They're trying to expand the market to allow the 9-13 year olds make their moms buy the new games. Sucks for the older, more experienced players, they need to find a balance, or just make the kids learn the game.

I expect 2K servers to be better on next gen, hopefully but they could use like a point system based off your play online ranking etc. Basically close in whatever BBIQ (VIP) they measure you would get matched up against each other, like most shooter games are done. It wouldn't be full proof but it could probably get players of similar skills playing against each other.

So what you're saying that all kids and 13 years old are garbage at the game?? You were a kid once in your life and plus age doesn't matter it's all about how you play the game. Also I've seen older people play like noobs, not trying to start somethings but trying to get the record straight.

i have ye to meet a good player under age of 30 in 2k even when using my mic. It seems everyone that plays 2k wants to play iso streetball BUT cry to the devs about wanting the most realistic game they can get. Every VIP i look at before tipoff has the stat " POST UP >5% lol" yet they use the lakers or clippers. It seem the brain power needed to use the Dpad to call plays is gone also. Since its all spin in paint , wait for bigs to run under the rim then pass for standing dunk

IDK if age has to do with anything, plus most people are noobs online and it's rare to find a good game.

I won't play NBA2K online till they bring back lobbies. Just regular offline NBA Today games and association for me then.

I don't har as much trouble as you guys. I have quote a few Nba2k12 friends on my friends list UNDER the age of 30 that play great team basketball.

When I come across someone I add them, they usually have like minded friends that I can then branch out with. My list is full.
