I get 25pts against the Magic and we are winning by 10pts and it's 6mins in the 4th QT and what does the coach do? takes me out the freaking game and we lose. We actually needed this win and now we are 1-5.

I heard somewhere on this board that the stat caps are not the same as in years past--that they're somewhat realistic now, with very few, if any, attributes able to reach 99.

Is this true? And can someone make a spreadsheet if it is true?

If it's the same as before, you don't have to--the 2K12 spreadsheet will do fine once more if that's the case.

Got drafted 12th overall to Oklahoma City as an Athletic SG (passed on a couple teams like Milwaukee and Minnesota after I got the OKC interview) with an attempt to feel that void left behind by James Harden. Contending for a title as a rookie is always nice.

Playing with Westbrook and KD is really fun, so much that I just enjoy being the role player and letting them do their thing. lmao

I made a back to the basket center last night and scanned through the stats and the max stats I could get was a 95 in post fadeaway and post hook. I would say yes it's true in the case of a center with that playstyle. I have a slashing SF but I haven't checked out the max stats for that playstyle

The rebounding is broken worse than it was last year. Im a 6'10" PF and PGs come out of nowhere and get rebounds from me. I box out and as I go for the rebound the guy I box out somehow goes through me, or over me, and gets it. I jump for a rebound and my guy flails his hands like he got shot instead of getting it. The first thing I did was max my rebounding stats out hoping it fixed it...not a bit. Its incredibly annoying.

Blocking is nice though....but rebounding again ruins the experience I was hoping for when i created a low post player.

EDIT: After I typed this I got 6 straight rebounds...idk, I guess it chooses when to allow you to.

so is the gameplay rewarding? you dont feel cheated if someone scores? do you think it was your mistake that they did or do they still get bs shots?

You will feel cheated once you experience a couple of the unstoppable under the basket reverse layups. They go in EVERY time.

I'm a little disappointed with some of the attribute cap. I'm an athletic 6'8" SG and the max Dunk is 92. There are some other head scratchers on attribute cap such as 90(?) Speed, but I'm not at home to check MyCareer. does that mean there are no SGs out there higher than 92 dunk? DeRozan, DWade, Young Kobe....

You will feel cheated once you experience a couple of the unstoppable under the basket reverse layups. They go in EVERY time.

in a rookie showcase game nerlens noel made 4 of them in 1 quarter. he went from being wide open to doing a half spin (allowing a defender to run in) to doing that wonky reverse layup dive out animation. made it every time.

Created a 6'6 slashin SG. Got drafted to Hawks, 6th man after scoring like 13 points in a game. Havin a tough time with the controls though. Tough to get around people, not saying I want it easy, but I must be timing stuff wrong.
And I keep holding LT/RT when trying to dunk lol. Thrown about 4 alley oops when I was only one under basket.

I got a athlete PF who's dunk is on 80 and standing dunk is max out on 90, why he never dunk the ball down low? Like he always do a lay up when open.

No plays? So, you can't call plays and/or the PG AI does not call plays? If that's the case, that's a game breaker for me! And it's not the first time this problem was in a 2K game. Gosh. I might have to move over to Live if 2K keeps recycling their bball game every year, b for brokenball.

I'm a C, but I saw a YouTube video with a PG calling plays in the Showcase game, so plays can be called. Also, I had to turn on the 'run plays' option when I got to the main MyCareer page after I was drafted and all that.
