Re: NBA 2K14 Official MyCAREER Thread
Not entirely sure then because post precision works well for me as long as my attributes are up accordingly. And the LBJ C2C works well for me. I may not get and ones or drive right to the basket correctly but I do draw fouls almost every time.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 Official MyCAREER Thread
I'm happy that they finally "fixed" the drills.
No more selecting the drill, saving, loading, doing the drill, saving, loading, etc.
Now you just go into the drill and you can spend all of it there without having to return to the main menu, that was so annoying in the previous games when you had a lot of drills.Comment

I think you need to hold down RT when you shoot to activate dunks this year. I don't have the game with me right now to double check, but I'm pretty sure that's right."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment

Re: NBA 2K14 Official MyCAREER Thread
After my 7th game(2-5) I've cracked the starting lineup with my Center on PHI. I'm pretty sure I'm going to win DPOY and be 1st team all-defense. I protect the paint like no other.

Re: NBA 2K14 Official MyCAREER Thread
This may be a dumb question but is there anyway to better ensure a certain team picks me? Besides purposefully bombing interviews? Because I keep getting interviews with teams that already have a point guard and it's getting annoying replaying the showcase over and over.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 Official MyCAREER Thread
I made a Center (drafted by the Jazz), and in my first two games I went in with about 4:30 left in the first. I never came out. Anybody else having this issue? I like to be subbed for occasionally because my Center gets tired over time. I'm not even supposed to see 20 minutes, but I'm seeing over 40? It doesn't make sense to me.Mavericks

Re: NBA 2K14 Official MyCAREER Thread
Created a 6'5 SG from coppin state. Got interviewed by suns, kings and trailblazers. Trailblazers drafted me with pick 10.
I am really liking it so far. I am not great at the game so I play on all star/sim. It is nothing like 2K13, 3s aren't as easy to go in. Can't just juke and drive to hoop right away. Only rated a 70, so it might get a little easier as I get higher. I have to get my release down again. Same release and jump shot as 2K13 but it seems I have to hold it longer (I am a button shot guy not stick).Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 Official MyCAREER Thread
I started two Athletic point guards this year. One was drafted 6th by the Pelicans and the other 8th by the Timberwolves.
With both I had an A/A- team grade and ended with between 220sp and 260sp.
It took me a while to get used to the new control format but I'm starting to enjoy the games now. I'm playing on HoF/Sim.Comment
