Created a Back to the Basket center, had only 12 points but i think 8 rebounds and 3 blocks, also 1 assist. We lost the showcase but I was drafted 11th to the sixers. It's a lot harder playing as a center IMO, and I keep getting called for 3 second violations lol.

Played first game of the season against the nets on Superstar difficulty. Fouled out in the 4th with 53 points, lost by 7. CPU isn't terribly hard to get past, but man they make all their shots.

Hero ball is great....once. Doing it each game blows. I used to have to do that all the time until the team chemistry got up and I got the on court sig. I can't even describe how big of a change that one sig has. No more magical runs where they hit 5 uncontested 3 pt shots in a row while I miss wide open shots. Yes, my team goes into droughts with those wide open shots...BUT...the other team only gets 2 pt buckets and can't gain ground fast enough. Their momentum ends and then WE hit the open shots. Freaking Awesome! I almost quit playing this game because of the frustrating bad AI defense.

Side note: LeBron dunked on me personally 3 times in a row. He is next to unstoppable on HoF..BUT...I blocked his shot from behind the next drive! That was almost as satisfying as watching Rogers get hurt and the Bears winning on Monday!

I just had a great game. I'm a 7'2 defensive centre drafted to the timberwolves. We were playing OKC and were trailing by 10 near the end of the third and went on a huge 14-2 run so in the last 30 seconds game was tied at 97 and Westbrook had the ball and ran down the clock a bit then drove in and I blocked his shot! Got the board gave Rubio the ball cut to the basket and he actually gave me the ball I was surprised, I pump facked then threw up an up an under through Perkins and It dropped! .3 secs left haha. That's the first time I made a game winner in 2k14. It made me feel awesome haha.

Any one else experience the no Injury bug. Last two may be three in my Career i check on Injuries list NONE.

I have yet to receive any injury also even though my durbaility is 82.

Guss after 4 years no players ever get HURT thanks to OBAMA CARE

Yep, screw playing on "Sim"; default is where it is at. My teammates are playing better, games are more even/closer, we are able blow out bad teams and I don't always have to drop 45+ just to lose close. Something about sim/default this year remind me of how Maddens sliders were sometimes backwards. Through 26 games playing on sim; Love averaged about 18 and 6, scoring 25+ 6 times, 12 games on default he is averaging 25 and 8, scoring 25+ 10 times and of those 10 he had 6 30+ games.

I'm really running out of patience with DeMarcus Cousins. I would average over 15 assists per game if he didn't BRICK so many layups/close shots from my passes. So frustrating. I'm so glad we managed to get Paul Millsap (for Landry who I liked) because Millsap can actually finish around the basket. I wonder if my GM can dupe Memphis into giving us Gasol in exchange for Cousins.

I would of love that trade but I was in year 6 though b/4 i ask 4 trade n year 7.

Playing with Vucevic was horrible he didn't score didn't rebound no D got body by everyone the ball would fall in his lap he would literally sit there and watch CPU grab it. It don't help his vertical is 30 so he ain't out jumping no one.

wanted to stay on magic squad got tired of playing year on team than moving b/c GM refuse to bring in decent talent. to surround me with but I force my way off Next year to play with NOELS on 76ers

OK I'm about to Sim AS Break at least for few more years until Lebron/KD retire IDK might keep playing them. So i can start at SF instead of PF or C.

Got Stregnth to play down low and get boards along with finish in traffic etc just no back to basket game. I would be more of a stretch 4/5.

Glad to see there are injuries. Got them last year and u start off with at least 90 durability. this year 82 and have yet to get one. keeping it at 82

I agree i switch to Default also got tired trying to play HERO ball only to still lose big.

Sometimes i have to it on default but not as much.

Trying to get players involve at times so I don't have to do Everything on both ends of court. I end up forcing to many things which usually hurt more than help.

Anyone else experiencing being a SG at 6'4 but they tend to sub you in a SF for bout 4-6 minutes?

The Bucks prefer to put Mayo at PG instead of SF, sure we both 6'4 but I'm only 194 compared to his 210ish weight. He tends to do good at PG since he can overpower them, but then I get destroyed defensively as I'm going against guys 3 inches taller with at least 35 pounds on me. Offensively I can score, but Paul George had 6 steals and 3 blocks as well, ruining my teammate grade...

Also does everyone else notice the absurd amount of trading that goes on? Nothing major, just almost every player rated 67-75 has been traded....

This mode is just not fun at all to me this year. In previous years, I could carry my teams deep into the playoffs no matter who was out there with me. Not the case this year. With the exception of Paul Millsap, my teammates are utterly useless. I have to play hero ball EVERY NIGHT just for us to have a chance otherwise we're getting stopmed by 20+. Still in my rookie season and the trade deadline has passed, so I have to wait until the offseason to see if I want to be traded or not. Another thing... the blocks are ridiculous. Just played the Lakers and had my shot blocked 3 times by Steve Nash. STEVE NASH!

IDK last year version was better with custom rosters who had tendencies etc correct.

Should be better this year. If and when I do my 2nd player i'm waiting on custom roster set. I can't do another my player with 2k set.
