Alley oops? The cpu throws 3 or 4 of these down a quarter against me so far. Is there anyway to defend these on this game other than slapping the ball out of the air? The cpu will slide my defenders out of the way if I try to keep my defender in between goal and man on the oops. I feel like I am missing something.

IDK how u guys are able to shade players but it won't let for nothing even went back to 2k13 controls. now i'm back on default controls. still can't shade.

there is a delay in using RS so i just keep hands up at all times.

i'm put defense help slider to 100 and see how it works b/c i always seem to over run my player even without turbo. or it feel like to much sliding forcing me out of position at times.

Also i'm turn on contest shot to Intense D to see if it helps

Defintely not digging the delay in RS. I can't throw up a half-contest at the last minute. It'd make me feel better to be able to run out to the defender with my hand up again like I could in 2K13. Maybe auto-contest allows that? Sometimes I just run up to him to say hello and watch the shot sail over my head.

Its alll about timing and its all about the actual player you are trying to use to stop the oop. I have blocked two already and disrupted others. Trust me, the alley opp cheese isnt strong at all , they can be stopped.

Dont want to start the slider game since im having so much fun, but its been nagging me slightly.
Yes this was in the wish list. Once a tip happens the CPU is aware automatically and will get the ball. Hardly no 50/50 balls at all their awareness is too high.

I was scrimmaging with my Created MyTeam to get a little practice in before I go through season mode, and my defense was so stagnant. Noone was helping or rotating and I was getting killed 1 on 1 in the paint because I have nothing but bronze players.

So, I look at my defensive settings. I had the usual play tight on shooters and medium, sag off on the bigmen that weren't good at shooting. Started thinking about how I can get these boys to move with a purpose and eventually put double on the drive for all the perimeter oriented players, and double in the post for all the bigmen.

The change was like night and day. Everyone was rotating and closing out with hustle. The rebounding was 10x better too. Rashard Lewis and Biedrens were holding their own against David West and Roy Hibbert! It was pretty satisfying to watch. This was on HOF too.

put iggy on harden harison barnes on lin and curry on parson

play tighton parsons he can shoot over curry but not dribble pass without getting the ball stolen.
