Why do I keep missing Open Three's.

I have a 7'0 All Around Small Forward and my threes are maxed out at 90 and my consistency is maxed out at 90 and my shoot of the dribble is maxed out but i keep missing wide open threes. is anyone else having this problem?

Is it a perfect release? Are you shooting off the dribble? catch and shoot?

Perfect release A+ shot feedback sometimes catch and shoot and sometimes off the dribble but those attributes are maxed out

The fact this thread was made = NBA 2K14 did something right and is winning.

            So long, cheesers.

+1 Nba 2k13 was way to easy to pop points in and everything would almost fall..2k14 different story

Really good 3 point shooters in real life shoot 40-45% from beyond the arc. A couple of the truly elite guys will make around 50%. Just keep shooting when you're open. If you're hitting around this percentage, the game is simply replicating a pretty realistic percentage.

Now, if you continually shoot 20-30% on wide open shots, then you have a problem.

i've noticed that contested jumpers fall more, also try stepping 3-5 ft behind the line. i've played a few people online and deep 3's love to fall for some horrible reason

What's your shooting %? And what do you consider "open" threes?

It's a difference between shooting 40% contested and open 3's combined and shooting 40% wide open 3's only in practice with a 3pt specialist.

No lie man its like everyone has the range of Dirk and Kobe behind the arch. I missed wide open corners 3's with Paul George but Melo can hit contested one legged fadeing 3's.

I have notice the pro stick has a delay on defense and offense.

So I switched my controls back to the old version and I shoot much better now, but defense is still kinda delayed.

You're probably having release problems. Put your controller in a bowl of rice overnight, and that should fix the problem.
