Why are people overreacting about MyGM already lol? What they mean by using your Player is not your MyCAREER, it's the player you create at the very start of the game and is already done for you when you begin a MyCAREER. It's Association, improved, and you now know what your character looks like.

why would i want my GM to look like a 19 year old prospect? LOL

They won't so don't worry about it. That will come later. I know it sucks, but it is what it is. At least we got a ton of info about the game.

Lemme get this straight: MyGM is the new Association, and your MyPlayer is the GM? So we're being forced to do MyPlayer? I'm sorry, but that's kind of BS. They've been shoving MyPlayer down our throats for awhile now, but atleast there was an option NOT to do it. I have no desire to participate in any of the "My" stuff, but now I have no option. That's not cool.

Everything else looks GREAT though.

I really give 2k credit for having a great game on current gen and not porting it over which is the norm for most developers !!! They are giving us a all new game and experience I'm excited. This his how developers show do it and by the looks of things new excuses the game sounds awesome

I think your MyPlayer is just the avatar for MyGM.

Just as your MyPlayer is the avatar for MyCareer.

They confused everyone by turning MyPlayer into a thing from a mode. MyCareer is the actualy mode we think of as MyPlayer now.

Yeah that totally throws me off. It was a funky maneuver. I'm not particularly a fan of MyPlayer's omnipresence. I'd prefer to create a MyPlayer if I played that particular mode and not bother with it if I chose not to play that mode.

That was the other big omission from my end. Again, there was a lot of greatness revealed today and that's pretty cool, but a lack of classics would also be a real bummer.

Confirmed for next gen already by Simballer.

You DO NOT have to play MyCareer. We have been forced to create a MyPlayer for the last few years. The Avatar you create during the first play of the game is your MyPlayer. MyPlayer and MyCareer are two separate things. MyGM will make the avatar you create(your MyPlayer) the GM of a team. You will not be a player unless you play MyCareer.
