I just hoped MyGM isn't completely stripped like Madden CC was. User customization is a big must for that mode Editing players/Draft Classes etc...

And for the love of God plz keep this mode untainted from VC...

Did anybody consider that by this not being a port, that the gameplay might be different? And not in a good way? I realize that are adding a ton of features and that is good.....but let's hope it still feels like 2k.

I know i quoted you but not necessarily talking to you, its just that you brought up a point the others didnt

Im just saying, peoples expectations are a bit much even for me. At some point you have to realize they cant give the house and the farm in the first game.

Go back to 2k6 and I think they did way more than they did back then

I personally don't think custom music tracks was expecting too much.

Each of us is going to have our "GRR... FINE. TAKE MY MONEY ANYWAY." moments with each announced dissapointment. Especially if they're mainstays of the franchise and small little things that was never difficult for 2K to get in. Let us work out our little frustrations. :P

But most anyone who's sensible can see 2K Next-Gen is a light year jump ahead of anything else out there.

Now I don't personally get dudes who only play offline multi-user associations or something like that and won't buy the game otherwise, or won't buy because of some esoteric reason or mode, but they have my sympathies.

I love how this game is shaping up but I definitely need to hear whussup with the arena sounds. That's one of NBA 2K's weaknesses that been needing to be addressed since forever. I hope they're holding out and going to drop a huge audio bomb on us soon. A good bomb, of course...

Oh, just a tad disappointed in no warmups on the bench but hoping they're putting something together for 2K15 where not only will they return but the players will actually pull them off when heading into the game. Include t-shirts, too, 2K

So in other words people were expecting absolute perfection with this game? Something that doesn't exist. A company takes a risk and does a completely new game instead of just porting the current gen version like madden, and fifa. They incorporate many things people wanted, and people are still complaining...It's the first year....

While i'm SUPER excited for MyGM mode, this new engine and some of the notes about it have my mind running in circles. If they really harnessed the power of these systems and improved the AI like they said, this could possibly the best/smartest sports game ever created. I absolutely cannot wait until we see how the computer AI plays.

Also, the tidbit about each jumpshot looking different is mind blowing. Will literally give you something new to see every game.

How much different though? Will KD still look like KD? So many changes, you have to wonder if it's too much too soon. All sounds great, of course.

To everyone who is responding negatively to my comment regarding the change in engine creates some minor concerns: I am not complaining! But be realistic....sometimes when things get changed, it doesn't always work out perfectly. I love the concept, but I have a little bit of a concern as I now don't really know what to expect exactly.

With a direct port (not saying they should have done this) you know basically how the game plays and feels. It's usually a fresh coat of paint on an old classic. Not much changes but it looks better.

With a new engine we get all kinds of new goodies in addition to great new graphics. But we don't yet know the side effects (if there are any).

So normally an NBA2k title is a safe buy since they are all very similar each time. building on a core foundation. This is the first time I am not sure what to expect.....kinda like if I bought NBA Live this year. I was certain NBA2k was the way to go....but now I have some worries. Hopefully they all get put to bed quickly. I have more faith in 2K sports than EA.

Lets hope 2K did it up right for this new engine!

Madden: It's always the same thing, it never changes.

NBA 2k14: It's the same game as 2k13 the devs are lazy.

Then people complain that COD doesn't change anything. The suits are right I guess; you can't change too much because if not people won't know what to expect.

Not sure I follow Boiler, 2K has confirmed different body types and wingspans are in, KD will look like KD.

And yes I agree, it all sounds amazing, which is why i'm F'n excited haha. Of course there will be some worry about how these new modes will perform, and how the new engine will work, but for right now, i'm excited as iv'e ever been for a video game.
