Also, I recommend the following formula (or something similar) for Low Post Defense:

        [(Quickness + Strength + Defensive Awareness) / 2] - 10

I am really liking the gameplay with these rosters and the speed of the game. I do have a question to any of you guys that are using these. Do you guys see a double team that seems to always result in a turnover or out of bounds?

I have been playing with the lakers and every team I play the cpu team DTs kobe the first time he gets the ball. And just about everytime he throws it off of a player to out of bounds or they steal it. He never breaks the double or anything like that. He always picks his dribble up and has trouble. Is anyone else seeing this on star players?

Sorry, got called in early so i uploaded but didnt have time to post an update here. The easiest thing someone can edit is ft%. All you need is to click view the players 2K stat page thingy. Use the players career ft% UNLESS there is a signifigant change over the last 3 years.

I disagree with this. Players that take a lot of FTs are generally better FT shooters than their percentage shows. Kobe, for example, is generally around 84-85%, but he takes so many that it drops his percentage just by sheer volume. If he took only 2 or 3 per game like the FT% league leaders do, he'd be up around 90-92%, so he deserves at least an 88-89 despite his career 83.9%

the lowered hands, security, handle, pass and rebounding scale will drop everybody. Tops is LBJ at 92 i think. 88-90+ seems to be franchise player types. 80+ Top Stars, 75 are the non perenial all star types. Everybody plays and puts up thier numbers with lower overalls..no worries.

I wasn't talkin about overall ratings, I meant FT ratings

i agree with what you are saying, BUT in the video game world, if u give Kobe a 89% hes either going to shoot 89% from the line, Or he going to be hella close to it. It would be even higher if hes user controlled.

I thought about that... how sure are you? Have you tested it?

Everybody has. This is THE # 1 most cut and dry rating 2k has had for...like ever. I didnt even think ft ratings were even debatable outside of using current season % or career or last few years %.
