I'm going to edit Free Agents FT%.
Few questions:
Speed and Quickness are on point for EVERY player???
Only Denver and Dallas need FG% toned down???
Only Hands,Rebounding,potential and the rest of dunk edits
remain to edit???

Ball security...Contracts, along with that stuff are the only MAJOR edits needed.There may be more touch up type stuff done after that, but id think if you started an association with that stuff in place, you should be all good to go.

Accesories and Shoes are left too but...thats just cosmetics for visual purposes.

Serra will be editing potentials next. Probably take him a day or two. When he finishes, This will need to be tested big time. Try to get "Untouchables or star players" for unrealistic trades.


If/when you succeed let us know the trade package you got him for so adjustments can be made.


Hopefully we can get this rolling now.

I was wondering if you guys are editing the free agents who are retired down to 25 overall (Brevin Knight, Stephon Marbury etc...) and also for the one's who have no chance to come back to the league are you editing them as 47 years old with 27 years in the league, so that way they retire after the end of season 1 in association mode in order to make room for the unsigned free agents etc.?

Steph's not retired. I dont really like doing that. If anything ill just remove a real retired player from the roster all together, like Donyell Marshall.


Steph, Knight and Francis etc wont get picked up anyways. But they will be available in the pool.

Im editing FA's and thier sign-ability. Ill just make those players refuse to play for what thier worth, and they will sit there unless a user decides he wants them.

Sean Williams, James White, McCants, Dez Mason are the first fa signings usually.


What you need to do (and is the best thing) is to edit all those fake D-Leaguer's age and years so THEY retire. The CPU uses the real FA list and Unsigned Rookies from the rookie class to get players for the D-League.

Ok Neon, I'll lower the fake so they retire.

So you said Remove Donyell Marshall all together, How do you delete players from the game? or is that not possible, or did you mean just lower the ratings down to 25?

I have compiled a list of retired players and so if there is a way to delete them, I will as I like to get them out of there..

I was actually wondering how exactly you guys were going to calculate potential in general. It has never made sense to my why in sports games the declining starts such as Duncan and people like Vince Carter have higher potential then some of the younger raw talent in the league. Duncan is a great player but his potential should be low because he is on the decline.

i asked this before with no reply but, can you add ricky rubio in?
list him as a free agent rating of 25. so that we can assign him to the t-wolves in year 2. (i'm sure he plays a significant part in twolves "future" plans IRL.)

what's being done about the AND1's? username 'tarantism' posted a thread about layups a couple posts back.

also to Serra: as posted earlier i completed speed and quicks for every player on every team EXCEPT LAL and NJnets.

and NEON1, are you considering that most people will have player roles off and team chemistry when edit the 'potential' rating?

i hope dunks,ball security,and hands will be complete soon.
