for the 92-93 season you will not be able to fix the faces, the rookies are not editable after they have been drafted. what i did for the 93-94 file was take players caps that were still editable that retired (mark eaton, larry smith, paul pressey etc...) and made a new harold miner, googs etc...

to turn off injuries go to options/my nba/gameplay

im updating the ratings a tiny bit, mostly focusing on players who had a significant improvement or downfall or players that joined a new team, that sorta stuff. i dont want to spend the time i spent on previous rosters completely going through every person and every rating/tendency. i didnt adjust playbooks at all from the 92 roster to the 93 association so i think i should take a look at that but again i dont want to spend as much time on em as i did with my previous roster files.

i overlooked something and im killing myself over it. when mark price and dan majerles contracts ran out it automatically dropped them into the FA pool and when i resigned them they lost their jersey numbers which are retired. the same thing happened when i traded hornacek to utah. im too far along in the process to go back and fix em now so im thinking about possible starting from scratch for the 94-95 season, this will mean the sonics go to red and dark green a year early but i will be able to add some of the real player models instead of draftees like j kidd and juwan howard (my juwan cap looks perfect as can be though!). i will still have the 94 draft class attached to this file as is but if i start from scratch i will probably use my 91 base roster before i changed any names and then fill out the draft classes with caps of those players.

im probably a couple days away from finishing, less than a week i hope because i plan on taking ruff ryders draft class and combining that with a yet to be determined up to date roster after the draft wraps up and making an association file with all the rookies and trades that happen on draft day.

good stuff, thanks for the info. i have a few simple requests if you start from scratch for 1994-95...

if 95 is the last year you do because you make a draft roster, please keep the sonics uniforms green/yellow? thanks. I remember last summer once you started the draft file you didn't go back to classic rosters after that, which is understandable. all rosters are appreciated.

and if you could please include milwaukee's green/purple, and denver's navy/red/gold uniforms as well that would be appreciated.

Phoenix wore the black/purple/orange uniforms for most road games that year, and in all road playoff games. could you please make phoenix a created team and create a uniform with these colors? i know there isn't a uniform option that closely resembles phoenix's uni's, but it would look good enough from a distance. created team jersey #3 or 4 should be good.

        thanks again dude, greatly appreciated

im pretty sure i will be starting from scratch for 94-95. after some thought i realized drexler wouldnt be able to wear 22 for houston and on top of that i want to use the 90s west drexler thats completely bald. i always have fun playing with that houston team when i do these retro rosters and drexler with any other # than 22 would be a deal breaker for me. so seattle will have to be green and red, im still undecided if i will do a draft file or not depends on how excited i am after the draft or if any big trades happen involving the blazers. im pretty sure i will continue doing more of these association files, at least to 95-96.

i played around with create a team and was able to come up with some pretty good looking nuggets and bucks unis but the suns ones i did werent doin it for me so i think im gonna have to leave them alone. im thinking of not making bullets or sixers teams either and just using the real teams. bullets wore the retro striped unis once and awhile around that time and if i make it to 97-98 i dont want to have to start over again for the wizards change. nets im undecided on, they changed unis around 97-98 iirc. wish they would have left the blue road nets unis in. i will have to experiment with the grizzlies unis also.

well theres nothing i can do but give them another number. price will be 26 hornacek will be 17 or something and majerle is 8, all look really gay to me but all will be correct in the 94-95 file.

im pretty much done now. i had to go through the roster again and change a bunch of players signature dunks/layups. in association mode the cpu randomly gives players a bunch of stupid dunk packages. it absolutely loves that nene package and gave it to a bunch of gaurds and it gives centers a bunch of windmills and 360s, ********. oh, it loves that jump classic dunk too. i didnt check every single player in the league so if you see something unrealistic i apologize. but yeah other than the retired number thing and lack of some teams retro unis this roster is pretty friggin nice. im gonna scan through the roster real quick again before i post it & start a new thread.

Portlander, not sure if I missed something or not but are any of these (93-94) rosters uploaded as playoff rosters?

you asked this before and i responded back asking exactly what you were asking. each teams roster has been made to replicate the way the teams were after the trade deadline as opposed to the beginning of the season.

if you are asking if i made a separate roster file then no. the reason i made association files is because they dont have enough create a player slots to do accurate rosters without going into association and using the draft class feature to have more created players.
