Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
when editing a player's name and looking at the audio file. What does O do? And also is there a value to set for audio where the game automatically looks to pick up the name.
Say I want the player I've changed into being called adams instead of miller. Does the game automatically pick up on me editing his name or does it still call him miller?Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Hokup, I made a few suggestions in the cyberface thread if u want to check those out and see if u like. I had a few guys from the 98-2002 era like vin baker and brian grant....but to hexing, I have tried it yet but I just got the idea of can we swap out the "2K logo" on the gameplay screen under the scoreboard or is that "untouchable". I'm assuming if its edittable, its probably near the team abbreviations I would guess. I figure its something different so ill probably give it a try tonight, I was just wondering also if anyone has done this yet through hex? Instead of the 2k logo, I would swap it to the nba logo or jordan logo probablyLast edited by yanks126ws; 07-25-2011, 12:44 PM.Comment

I want him to be called adams not aaron brooks"Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
I think that's where I orginally saw it. Some guy had a euroleague mod on the pc and he changed the 2k logo to the nba one. I tried it just strictly changing the 2k logo to a nba one but it didn't carry over...o well, thanks for the info man!Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
yea its sad that we cant do that. But i found a program back in feb that let me find the cavs court from the update in winter. And extract the file out of the update. But none of the pc mod tools could open the file."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
thanks , let just hope that they stick with the same code and not change it like they did from 2k10-2k11. If they dont i would think we would could have a new for 2k12 before xmas."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment
