    Will it be on nba-live.com?

If asking/answering this violates the TOS, then delete it.

    EDIT: or moddingway.com?

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

Problem: when downloading ninja tactic's cyberfaced players they all have 10 day contracts going into the season. I tried editing their contracts but it doesn't seem like its a 10 day contract no when i try to tinker it, it helps solve the problem. Hokup, PB, someone have an answer for this issue? Thanks

BTW for anyone noticing certain ninja tactic players being called michael jordan or gilbert arenas just edit the players name into what you want it to be and kevin harlan will call the player what you want to call him.

Love Ninja's work, even though there are tiny issues with his players, his efforts and work are very much appreciated!

The shoe I.d. Is shoe brand (04) then the shoe type (8c). The 04 means Nike and the 8c means kobe's 2k10 shoes.
yes, my bad on the 55 bytes, it should be 6 bytes to the left from the the first "FF" at the start of the first shoe color. i was going off memory and got mixed up. its hard keeping all this straight in your head if you havent got the hex editor opened in front of you and all your notes. considering ive hex edited jerseys, cyberfaces, shoes, arenas, courts, player names, myplayers, create a teams, shorts, accessories, etc... but yeah supreme did basically what i said and that was as long as you know what shoe your guy originally was wearing it shouldnt be hard to find once youve found the color. however, im not sure the color iltp picked is a great one "00FF99" there may be other instances of this that arent necessarily your players shoe color. i suggest giving the player that green for all 3 shoe colors. that way you can search for "FF00FF99FF00FF99FF" and feel more secure that youve found the correct area.

the pic iltp posted shows the correct area.

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

          Hello, everyone!

What i can see is a controversy out of nothing.
During August i have some other plans, than programming (will be in my native village, away from any PCs ). Of course, i understand, 2K12 is coming, and i will certainly lack the opportunity to get 360 version to the same full state, as PC is.
So, c'mon, please, don't put the money question out of the bag, as it's too early.

          The reality is the following:
          1. All the programming part is 99.99% done for the "initial" release (0.01% is for possible bugs, required to be fixed ).
          2. I'm currently stuck with the tons of documentation and texts, which have to be made prior the release.
          3. Anyway the release will take place on July, 21-23th, no matter if i have a chance to make a detailed documentation or a limited one.
          4. Still, if i'm successful with finishing the documentation before the release date, i will implement some more things for 360 version.
          5. The first version, available for 360 will be free, only ROS files will be supported, and you will be able to edit only Players tab (although, other tabs are also partially editable), about 40% of the fields, available for PC-editing. This is due to noone has agreed to help me with decoding palyers accessories, CAT faces and other appearance parts, editable with the game, yet. And i have a hard time, decoding them, because i don't own XBox 360... Don't ask, why other parameters are much easier to decode: it's because of the inner file structure.
          6. In September i will have to be working on my University project. But i will probably have time to get 360 version to at least 85% of fullness, comparing to PC version. So, in this case the best choice will be to charge less, than for PC version + grant discounts for 2K12. But these are just my current thoughts. The situation will probably change.
          7. When 2K12 is out, i will try to complete PC version of the tool for it by December and 360 version by New Year or by March, if i'm not successful to finish it by New Year, as i'm having exams all January.

So, here's the current situation. Everything will be more clear by next Thursday.

          Mmmm.... 2 more things.
          1. Noone is going to charge for the tool here. It's shareware, so there will be a tech. support topic here with a link to the free version, but all the questions, including purchasing, will be discussed on the tool-devoted site: red-mods.com

          2. Mr. Green Magic, i'd like to ask, how exactly did you help me with the creation of the tool? Or how did you help hokup with the creation of his tutorials?
As for me, everyone, who constantly helps the project, gets some licenses for free and his name in the special thanks list. So, there is no cause to accuse me of being selfish or whatever. The thing is that the project needs people with some exact skills at different stages of its life, so, unfortunately, i don't have tasks to everyone, wishing to help. But it's the other problem.
PS: In the Soviet Union there was such a saying "Don't ask, what your Country did for you; ask, what you did for your Country." Just suits the off-topic well.

I will post again in about a week.

I am glad vlad chimed in because i wil be out for sometime. I found out today that i will be have surgery on Thursday to have my glubladder removed and i will be out for least 7-10 days. As some of you know i was in the hospital for a week about 6 weeks ago because of it and it has to come out now.

So i will post 3 more blog that will help you guys with editing. Doesnt matter if your using hex editor or going to wait for Reditor. They will be hidden jersey , team colors 1 & 2 and the other will be all color regrading team gear for each uni that is in the game.

I may not be around for the 1st few days after the release of the reditor. The guide that comes with it well be your "guide" its easy to follow. You guys should be good with that.

I was in Germany on my trip a week ago. Though, in Rheinald-Pfalz, not former GDR. Still, if comparing modern Russia and Germany, life in Germany should be considered as a dream life haha )))

Anyway, as hokup is unfortunately away , i need someone, familiar with Hex-editing (no matter, if the guy is a pro in hex-editing or has just limited skills) and more important, who has XBox 360, to help me map the parameters, which are editable in-game. I will show you, how to do this.

Hokup, wish you all the best! Recover soon, my friend!
