editing roster w/ hex editor?

Hey guys got a question. I know last year to edit shoes was to assign shoe color then find the play and edit the shoe code but I can't seem to get it to work. How do you do it? Is it still 6 bytes from the shoe color? And another question what are the shoe brand codes this year?

Hey Guys,

Trying to change the Miami Heat Home Jersey sock color to Black. Looked at tutorial and know it is 4 bytes to the right and changed it from 0 to 1, but it did not work.

did this change? if so how do you make this change this year?

Just out of curiosity, Will the reditor let us do some improvements with Nike iD shoes like being able to create more than 50 shoes or assign 2 different Nike iD shoes to the same player?

no not as of know the nike id is a stand alone file with in the hard drive and when it full it full.
Some of the nike id shoes have to pairs to them and those are the only one that you can use . Other then that you cant .

Ah no last year we got up to 256 teams. When the REDitior is release and you get the paid version you can clone slots for created teams and players to have more room. So you will be fine based on what you seem to want to do.

Holly crap!!! We can do that? I figured we couldn't. I thought it would increase file size. Hey, hokupguy, is there or will there be a tutorial on how to this among other things. I not trying to bug, I'm just new to the reditor.

yea that as far as we got with out increaseing file size. As long you dont do that you add alot. And there a guide built into reditor when it is released. There are handfull of thing that can be done that could not be last year this year.

Stay tune for those new things in the next few weeks.

Still having trouble getting the Heat Home Sock Color to change to Black.

I took the normal steps to change the approaite set of 00 to 20 like Sean Barkley said to. I also tried 10, but have had no luck.
here is the sequence of numbers..
00 00 00 00 00 00 01 40 D0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 40 00 00 00 09 14 A9 00 08 67 57 46 0F AC 8D 00 00 00 00

Notice that 40 is where I normally would change the 00 to 10 or 20, but since the 40 is there I changed the next set of 00 but it did nothing.

Can anyone help? What do I need to change to get the black socks to show for Home White Jersey for the Miami Heat?

I have learned hex pretty well thanks to Paul Pierce's help and Rondo is God, but this has me baffled.

Change the bold digit from "40" to "42". Also, if you want black shoes (I assuming do you) change "x0" to "80"

<b><center>HOW TO HEX EDIT SHOE BRANDS</center></b>

The first thing you need to do is to go to hokupguy's blog and find a list of the cyberface IDs. you then need to convert those from DEC to HEX (i'm assuming you know what that means, lol). then you will look up your player in hxD by doing the following (make sure your view is at 32)

XX XX 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 FF FF

xx xx = cyberface ID (if ID is only 2 digits, then the first "xx" will be "00"

from there, start to highlight the begging of the cyberface ID (including the "00" if they are there, highlight 60 hex bytes (you should see how many you are highlighting on the bottom right under "Length"). Once these are all highlighted, the very next byte will be the shoe brand ID, and the byte to the right will be the shoe within that brand. Here is the list:

x0 = Generic
x2= Nike
x4= Adidas
x6= Jordan
x8 = Converse
xA = Reebok

DO NOT CHANGE the "X"

Note: I have not figured out how to assign Nike ID shoes to a player when you change their brand

Thanks for doing this ^, didnt have anything this detailed to , the nike ids are a not as tricky as you think they start in with same code 600 are the nike ids that kobe , bron , KD and wade they have home white and color away. I do not know how to get this to work threw hex , but it is working fine with reditor.

Nike id break down below you will have to convert the code to hex


0600 -> Nike Zoom Kobe VI away
0601 -> Durant 3 away
0602 -> Jordan Wade away

0601 -> Durant 3 home
0602 -> Jordan Wade home

now these on the line updates if you dont play online you wont have these. These are found in online related nike id folder hidden in your hard drive

Cannot get the decade all star logos to show up on CAT jerseys, no idea why this was so easy last year, I change the logo codes and I get a solid black jersey with a white box on the chest everytime, even try the release staff trick but when I open the team up in hex the second time the 3 "l.o.g.o." sections are completely gone, so confused right now...!

It should work I have done this w/2k12. If you make it looks like this ...l.o.g.o.2.0.4... just for example. If your getting blank square means u missed something.
