Yeah that's exactly what I'm doing and still zero luck, I change to " ...l.o.g.o.3.0.0...." just as I would have on 2k11 and boom, nothing lol, I have no idea where I could be screwing up, I did this last year fine with lots of logos..Comment

Your doing it right it might have some thing to do with the file it self."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

1) Convert Ben Wallace 35 35 into Afro Ben Wallace (DLC mode: Can't find the ID #)
2) Swap Mario Elie Cyberfaces (Warriors should have hair, Rockets version should be bald)
2021 2021 (Rockets Elie)
2083 2083 (Warriors Elie)
3) Doug Christie 2086 2086 to 2338 2338. Kings Version of Christie needs to be the Knicks version with hair
Number base (radix) conversion to convert all base numbers including binary, decimal, hex, octal and steps of how to convert base numbers.
from base 10 dec to base 16 hex
so Doug Christie 2086 turn to hex is 0826
Please use the "Search in this Thread " tool , This has been answered at least 3 time and once by me , PB and Yanks...
Good Luck you should be fine with that site.Last edited by hokupguy; 02-17-2012, 04:35 PM."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

2) I get confused that you list a number twice. Ex: 2338 2338
3) Do you just automatically add a 0 in front of whatever value you get?4) If I wanted to change a player's eye color blue... for example: Bill Walton or Steve Kerr. How do you locate the eye color... and what value do you enter to make it from brown to blue.
- the reason there is a number twice like you said : 2338 2338, is because one is the CF and the other is the gamer picture, some players don't have both, example is Allen Iverson, his picture is still in the game but not his faceComment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
You add a zero if the value you get isn't already 4 characters, all these guys are on 2k share itd be way easier to just download them then change the eye color yourself since they are CAPs, as for the Elie thing if you want the bald one on the rockets and the one with hair on the warriors why not just trade them?

Afro Ben Wallace is 2348

*I know in 2k11 portlandblazer found a way to make actual nba players into caps by changing 0d to 0b. Anyone know what to do for 2k12? This way we can edit gray locked fields for nba playersComment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Guys,
I was able to place old time hidden jerseys on a bunch of teams.
Having trouble with shorts though...
I put short shorts on teams by changing all 40's to 42 and it worked but I got a dark shadows glitch on players arms and legs on about 75% of the teams.
Then I tried finding " 1A 00 00 00 40" for the Suns, but for me it reads "1A 00 00 00 80". Not sure why...
Then when I change the 80 to 50 ("1A 00 00 00 80" to "1A 00 00 00 50"), it removes the shadows BUT gives the players practice jerseys!
I must have the codes wrong.
Can anyone help?
thanks,

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
not a problem. I can go back and redo it but how can I get rid of the dark shadows on the arms and legs?
The 80 to 50 change in code turns out not to work for me. I still get the shadows on arms and legs.
I thought this change would fix the shadows? http://www.operationsports.com/forums/nba-2k-rosters/465057-editing-roster-w-hex-editor-246.html
Here is the weird thing...if you choose to play with practice jerseys, the shadow glitch is GONE.
thanks,
