    team code 01 40 D0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 XX XX

    that second number... sometimes its 40... 41... or 42. What does each mean?

      Each number represents a different length in shorts. There is a different shorts length code for every jersey in the game.

      40 = Current Style Shorts (Longest)
      41 = 1990s Style Shorts (Just above the knees)
      42 = 1960s-1980s Style Shorts (Shortest)

      Go back to page 246 of this thread and you will see an example that is posted. Remember this, if you change a shorts size to 42, you must change collar type to 5 or 6 to not have that shadow glitch. These numbers make the jersey fit tighter.

      5 = Round tight fitting collar
      6 = "V" style tight fitting collar

      I'm not the best at explaining things, but I hoped this helped.

        Wow @ mo2thewillyo , i am surprised to say this to you of people. But man talk about being late to the party the short i showed to everyone in october and the detail that was posted for you was from hyperball back around xmas time.

        Anyways you could just wait a few more days to do it with reditor...

            Hey how do I now when I get to team accessorie colors and not uni's is there a line number that you can give me of where team color accessories begin? Sorry bit of a newbie still. ex. Lines that would affect Headbands, sleeves, etc. and how about socks? can we change sock colors from black to white or white to black? Or is that for Reditor only? Any help would be great thanks in advance.

              If you go to page 192 and start reading at the bottom, it might help ya get going. Start reading post from there, into page 193 and so on and you might find what you're looking for...

                man,i really hope the reditor is easier to use than the hex editor ,those codes look. very complicate, does anyone knows if we need to have both to make it work?is it also fair to assume ,that everything I can do is possible with the reditor?

                  Hokupguy, if possible, can you try one thing? It´s the only thing i want to know to buy the reditor:

                  Can you change both a created team and classic team to a "regular" team and play a season or association game with them? To see if the crowd reaction is on par with the on going court action (home crowd reacting to home team buckets by cheering, etc...).

                  p.s. - quick play and playoff mode works ok, so no use trying those modes.

                  Thanks!

                    just to clarify, you can take a portrait off the internet and put it onto a cyberface.

                            REDitor does not let you add art to the game. It lets use everything that is on the disc active or hidden....

                                Is Jeff Van Gundy still on the disk? I noticed he was on 2k11's hidden coach list.
