Wow!!! Definitely need you to share this. Please put up a little tutorial on how this is done.
Also, any chance you can find where the colors are stored for the custom shoes? I want to turn the black in there to 141414 because the black they use is unrealistically dark and can't see the shoe laces at all.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
All he is doing so far is making one change to the player in one file then compare it to another file with hex to see the diffrents. I have been try to break down each player in hex and find the face the same way. But cant find the face.Last edited by hokupguy; 03-21-2011, 10:15 PM."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
no , no tut for it . Just do this make a 2 teams make 1 with custom colors then the other with team colors that you know the code for of the color chart for teams. They must be the same but the colors. Then export the teams open the files in hex then compare them. Find the hex that are diffrent see if those color are hex then go from there

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
since there is chatter of being able to locate players in the hex editor...
can someone explain how to go about cloning/duplicating some players... and by that I mean copying their face/head
it would be nice to have extra Cyde Drexler, Vlade Divac, Danny Ainge, Scottie Pippen... this way when we create classic teams we don't have to use/remove the ones from their original classic teams when we are trying to create "other/extra" classic teams.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Does anyone know why my file says it's corrupted or damaged? I only changed one letter in Knicks Arena so that it was Knikks Arena, just to see if I could get it working but whenever I try loading up my usb again it says the profile's corrupted.
So could somebody put up a quick tutorial using a usb stick please.
I think I've got the right programs. I'm using USBXTAFGUI_v44 and Modio.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Yeah. Maybe I'm doing it wrong or something.
This is what I did. Made a profile on my USB and saved a roster onto it. I then plugged it into my pc and used USBxtafgui to extract the roster file, roster.ros, I did the one hex edit using the hex editor you recommended then I saved it and closed hxd. I then dragged it onto modio and clicked rehash and resign. Then I injected the file I edited back into my USB using USBtafgui.Comment
