Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
here is how to remove the injuries:
first make sure that you have a base file: maybe Roster 1
than change the shoes (or any other accessory - just for Player search)for all players that are injured, save the roster as Roster 2 (or whatever you want to call it)
now open hex, compare both files...hex will find the players. in the cell where the ID is go to column "14" and change the value to "00" do that for all players in Roster 1 and you have it...injuries are goneAttached FilesComment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
I thought hokupguy was going to post a tut and may have somewhere but I could've missed it. It certainly would be nice to help members out with all these hex edits. Having said that, there are a couple roster sets available with a lot of these hex edits already implemented. These would be for the 360.NCAA- GO VOLS
NBA- GO CELTICS
MLB- GO BRAVES
NFL- GO COWBOYS
NHL- GO PREDATORS
NASCAR- Chase Elliott
MLS- LA Galaxy

Also remember to edit injuryed players to do it before you make any other change to the roster. When you make any type of change or add caps or cats the size of file will change and the placement of whatever will change in the file.Last edited by hokupguy; 03-27-2011, 09:57 PM."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Quick question -
I know that all the editing you guys are doing is for 360 only and I wanted to know if Xbox Live Gold is required for me to be able to download rosters, etc. via 2K share?
Thanks.Comment

If I save the SAME roster with two different names(ex Roster 1 or Roster 2) and I compare them with ex,the editor will highlight so many different numbers beetween the two file...
So how " hex will find the players. in the cell where the ID is " with so many differences in two risters that have no IN-GAME differences???Boots..........To ASSES!!!!!!Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
what are some examples of edits that can be made to the courts for portlandblazer's 85 and 87 rosters?
I ask because in his thread pb mentions a re-release of his 85 roster after some hex edits to the courts will be made. any info is appreciated, thanks.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
With the new Reditior that will be out in May you can do it to any team with a click of button and type in the Hex color you want. But you would lose the wood floor texture the team has. You would get the CAT / exported team wood floor texture. Havent been able to find where to edit lines like half court / 3 pt line and etc yet."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment
