I really need instructions for the Hex Code Editor, I have been scrolling for hours and still can't find the names of anything, not players, coaches, arenas. I don't want to flood this thread with questions either.

No classic teams but just updating current teams to have in game what should be in the game.
No none of these are my work this was based on portlandblazers 99-00 roster. You cant export the teams and then load to a roster. It all backs to it was before.
No really good giving instructions. But all you need is to get busy with the modio and a hex editor and discover everything. It took me 4 days to understand everything after that it just took off.
I will be releasing a roster set that i did with one of the mods from nba-live.com in the next few days.
Here is a little teaser for it

open the file with what ever hex editor your using. the only things i found that we can edit and until the tool is released is all on the right hand side. Scroll down skip around, each roster save is different based on what it is and it has on it. It take aaaaaaaaalots of time.

Is there any possibility of being able to edit shoes with the hex editor? For instance, the third custom color slot on the Jordan 11s doesn't control anything. Any chance to edit what those control or editing shoes all together like I know they do with the PC version?

no we cant edit anything that is code related cant change shoe color , trade players , shorten shorts, change assc. colors, sock colors, move coaches, change player faces or use hidden player faces file and change courts. We have to wait for the Pc tool to be xbox friendly .

All we can do now is edit anything that is in simple text that can be seen. Such as names of arenas, teams , city, states, nick names , 1st and last names of players and coach's. Mix and match arenas , uniforms and logo's led string art , dorns and there playoff and finals dornas. As of right now that seems to be it. A good rule for anyone wanting to edit the roster save with hex editor if you can't read it you cant edit it.

That's too bad... thanks for the quick answer. This is an awesome find though and I appreciate you sharing this with everyone. I'll be crossing my fingers for an xbox friendly pc edit tool. lol

Was wondering if you could edit the sonics to be the millenium sonics with the bright yellow and green, that'd be sweet. Also, are you able to change the floor texture?

So i try to open the file in the hex editor and it gives me three options: Data000, Data001, and Data002. Am i supposed to plug this into modio before i load it into the hex editor?

I figured you'd be able to edit the sonics court the same way you did the bucks, and just changing the colors. You aren't able to access the hidden logos are ya?

this what you do, it has to be an xbox file. I has to be a ROS.File when you put it the hex editor it just open it no options. Not sure what going on there.

i didnt edit the bucks court I edited a created team court and changed the logo. There are no hidden courts arena or logos in the game for xbox or pc. There a slot for the all star teams and cavs alt . But when i swtich them on there just all what with no texture. But was able to get the hornets, magic and twolves unis work with codes.

What i did was use PB 99-00 bucks CAT. Change the uni and logo in the hex editior to match the current bucks. The colors changed only because it is still a CAT.

Ok still having major trouble with naming arenas that have shorter names that the space allocated. Please help. I am starting to get this. I have already renamed Rockets Arena to Toyota Center but that fit perfectly. I am trying to change Celtics Arena to TD Garden. The exact hex I am using is .T.D. . G.a.r.d.e.n.*.*.*.*... I do this, rehash and resign, but everytime I try to load it, it says saved content is damaged or unreadable.

                            Please help.
