Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

Is there anyway to assign the Nets retro Silver Jersey instead of the Nets Current red jersey. Unfortunately the ua 12 retro jersey has one too many letters to fit in a hex edit of the regular ua 12 jersey for overwriting. Is there a hex trick edit to get around this problem so that you can assign the nets their old silver? Thanks

Nice job man, but unfortunely we are will past this point. But you really need to post in your tool thread that there is a high chance that they will get banned from 2k.

When I try to edit the shorts for some classic teams only the home team ends up getting short shorts while the road team still retains long shorts. I made sure that I changed the 5080 code to 5090 and the hex editor shows that the numbers have changed but like I said I still have only the home jersey showing up as short shorts. Thanks to any help on how to get both home and away jerseys to be changed into short shorts. I have this problem with the 95 knicks and late 90s Jazz Teams.

Are you only editing the 95 knicks and late 90s Jazz Teams??? If you are doing all hex code that is 5080 to 5090 it should be no issue. But if your tring to get those 2 teams done make sure you find both lines of code maybe your just changing the 1st which is the home the code of 5080 is the away.

I hope this helped you out i think TUSS11 put break down a few mths back in the thread with pics on how to do this. All in this thread, good luck.

I checked already and both lines have the changed code. Strange I know.

On another thought, I have been browing PC Rosters and I was curious to know if it is possible to take a coaches head and use him for a player. With this idea guys like Nate McMillan, Avery Johnson, Kurt Rambis, Mario Ellie, and Sam Cassell come to mind. Would it be possible on the 360 to assign their cyberfaces to player models. Also with coaches I'm hoping that Pat Riley and Chuck Daly might be in the game.

not sure what going on with the shorts then... Yea its possible but for some reason dont look right when it use it and player... The coach face like detail compare to the players on some have there fingure tips on there neck looks ... Weried but easy able to put any player or coach and anybody ... trying to find the face of the refs...

How can we hex edit the rosters for the All Star Teams and Jordan Brand Players. Can we open the hex editor and change some codes to switch out whose on the East All Star Team onto the West All Star Team or even make a non all star into a member of an all star team? Seems like there must be an easy way to hex edit that as all you are doing is switching selected players.

yes but how do I get a player from myplayer mode onto a regular roster???

Basically you locate two players say Horace Grant and A Generic Player. Do I just copy Horace Grants Data on top of Generic Player??? When I open my roster the Generic Player does not become Horace Grant. It doesn't matter if he's a generic player or Richard Hendrix, he is still the same player before editing.

I don't know how you can take a player from my player mode and put him on a roster.
