There is also another way to change the shoe color without changing the 2 or the 0 in 5080. In fact, I wouldn't even touch that.

When looking at every team code, can you see TC1, TC2, and then headband?

If you know how to find those, go one more character back, in front of TC1, and you will see either "EBEBEB" or "141414". If you want to change from white to black, change the "EBEBEB" to "141414" and vice versa. It will work every time.

I'm not sure if I tried that but I just put two roster files together and compared them and found where it was changed to register as an away and changed the 8 to 0 and it registered as home and the shoes changed to white

I know but the way I listed is actually how the developers do it. When they change the shoe, it changes the spot in the code. Less chance for errors that way IMO, but do whatever works.

I think you're right about Chuck's last appearance in a 2K game being 2K6. If he's not there, that's cool. I'll still have fun having my Bulls play the late 80's Suns with Chambers, Majerle and Johnson. I used to love watching the Bulls play them since it matched MJ's explosive offense against the Suns high-powered offense, and matching the Bulls defense against that Suns offense, to see if the Bulls could slow them down.

              Fun times. Fun times.

Yup, and that was the last one Reggie Miller was in.

Ok, in the downloaded roster it was changed to an away uniform though when it really shouldve been a home one so it bothered me lol. But where do you find the actual uniform and court colors and are any certain color keys you go by when editing a jersey or court color?

As far as hex editing, don't think you can change uniform colors. Not understanding the first part of your question. Which jersey are you talking about?

As far as if you can change a home jersey to away or vice versa, yes you can. This is a good way if you have custom shoes to have the right color shoes with the jersey. Say for instance players wear white at home, black away, but black for their home alternate jersey. You can change the home alternate jersey to be listed as away alternate and this will have the players wear black shoes instead of white.

The way I was talking about was for if you are not using custom shoes and want to change the base color.

Ok ok thank you and I was talking any jersey in general because you know how 2K has some jersey colors slight off, mostly too dark, I was wondering with hex can you change the colors yourself. I thought I read somewhere that you can alter uniform and court colors.

to edit jersey color you need to export a team, load it onto a roster and go into create a team screen and the jersey will change to a create a team jersey. now you will have to re-export this team and then take into hex and give the team the jersey you want. the problem with this is you will have to have a logo on the chest but its the only way to give a jersey custom colors that i know of. to change court colors it has to be done the same way, as an exported team, you cannot ,as far as i know, edit the color of existing courts.

Okkk thank you and one last question. Now with the whole sneaker and uniform thing, if you're using custom colors is there still a way you can make it that for a certain uniform they're wearing green with the uniform colors instead of the custom blue color or no

well last night started search old text roster update of nba 2k6 off google and found that barkely , miller and karrem where all on the legend teams. I think i will find many players as long as 2k didnt replace some pic with someone else. That is based of logos and unis i found before.

Lets hope when i have time in the next few days i can find a least a 100 players. It would be a early father's day gift to my self... Here's to hoping...

Is it possible to edit the draft order and rookies in MyPlayer? If people start releasing 2011-12 rosters it would be cool to start a new file with this year's rookies.
