The only thing that would make that picture more funny is if it were Larry Bird's head on the black body.

I would personally send it to Isiah Thomas...

Lol i'm sorry, I meant in hex. I'm trying to edit the players sneakers in HxD but I don't know any other way other than to go to the players and change their sneakers to a 9900FF and find them in HxD. Like what's the hex string to find the first player and is it in any specific order? I know above Kobe Bryant was Derek Fisher

Can someone upload the real cyber faced players of Jason Kidd and Shawn Marion on 2kshare? Thanks

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

The issue of cyber faces being plagued by the dreaded black/white arms inspired me to start a new thread called "Cyber Face Project"

Cyber Face Project is looking for 2k cyber faces that could be used as look alikes for past players. In case hokup can't find a way around that previously mentioned problem with the hidden player faces, this could be a nice alternative. Another reason I'd like to do this is because of that dreaded alien face glitch that occurs when exporting teams that contain created players. If we could have more past players with cyber faces then it would reduce the concern of exporting teams since 2k cyber faces aren't affected by that annoying glitch.

I really hope we get some good findings/suggestions and contributions listed on that thread. This process is basically like assigning signature shots to different nba players.

Side NOTE: For all the folks that stating they have seen crews with hidden players and guys like Ricky Rubio that have blk arms , but with black out arms. This what he look like in game.

Also been missing with height made him 10'4 ( as big of deal the T-Wolves think he be)
These screencaps of the 'KG black arms' actually gave me a little faith in the condition of some of the past legends. Players like Kevin Johnson or Julius Erving hopefully might not look all too horrible with them

KJ is bad almost as bad as a white player since he is so light skined in the game for some reason. DR.j might be use a able by lighting his skin just bit.

Is it possible to take a black armed white/light skinned player and swap heads with a non-black armed white/light skinned player of the same body type?

No. This has already been explained, but here it is again.

Sure you can swap them like that, but you're still going to end up with black arms, but you'll get a white/light lower body.

The arms and upper body textures are stored in the pngXXXX.IFF file, otherwise known as a Cyberface, and cannot be altered on the console versions of NBA 2K11 since you do not have, and cannot get, access to the files. It's beyond the scope of Roster editing and simply not possible on the console versions of the game.

As of now no, the skin is part of the face file. But i have heard stories of people you have heard other people you have seen hidden players that i found with face but no black arms. Trying to have filter the bull **** for me.

The body type is no issue with the new tool you pick body type with ease, so worries about that. Right now have to find a way around the black arms. Vlad (creator of the new tool) has told me of some folks on the pc finding double of the hidden players files. one with black arms and then the other with the right skin tone.

I have gone threw the 1st 3,263 lines of code since last night . And haven't found anything new in the last 2000 lines of code or so. I still have little less then 6,000
lines of code to go. Here's to hoping find those doubles and more players.

only if i can find the doubles as vlad has stated.
