Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Dude its not quick its easy but not quick in huge pain. you might want to wait for the new tool. I know PB plans on redoing alot or all of his rosters with it. So you might want to wait. Its just huge pain in the *** as you will see soon as you try with the rockets."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Is it possible to have exported a team and be able to change Kevin Harlan addressing the team into another teams name. Lets say you wanted to export the wizards and then change them into the magic where you change the logo and jersey. Anyone know how to make Harlan call them the Magic too?
I'd like to know how to do this because some teams you export have different color and ordering so that when I choose that team I don't have to mess with the paint and out of bounds lines for the exported team. This is why I wouldn't just export the magic outright.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
For the 99-00 Roster you did with Portland Blazer I saw you made the Cavs floor which would be perfect. I'd like to switch the Magic logo and assign their jerseys but how would I change Harlan to announce them as the magic.
Secondly... How do you locate the out of bounds and and paint for a CAT court in the hex editor? It might be even better to locate the three colors that are set at defualt and change them, that way when you export the team you don't have to go through the logo on the chest hassle. I'd love to edit the colors or even just the order of the three primary colors.
Would appreciate an explanation thanks!Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
OK just so i get this clear: every time i put an exported team into association i have to fire my staff and hire a new one? Or do i only do that once and after that i just continually export until it is correct? Thanks for all your help.Comment

you only get the logo and the chest when it is when your are editing a CAT. But with hex you can not recolor anything no even logo for exported team. you can edit the team colors in the order you want after you find team, they are 0077C0 & D7D7D7. Good luck.Last edited by hokupguy; 07-01-2011, 12:31 AM."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
Also What I'm trying to do is locate the Hornets, Suns, and Heat so that when I export them they will already have the set order of colors to match with what I want their court colors to look like.
These are the orders of the "primary colors" according to the team colors section. I'd like to reorder them in terms of paint and out of bounds. That way when i export a team they will have the order I want which will affect which colors are out of bounds and the paint. I want to locate these teams color schemes.
Hornets teal yellow purple
Suns orange purple gray
Heat red black yellow
So from what your saying I look up the colors. But how do I make sure I'm locating these three branches of colors for each team in the editor? Thanks hokupLast edited by mo2thewillyo; 07-01-2011, 12:45 AM.Comment
