I'm not sure for the sliders right now... I would go with default and play a few games as all of the players ratings and tendencies were changed.
I'm sure DC will send me an email once he sees all the Q's about sliders.Comment

He released a slider set on June 9th (same day as when he first uploaded a roster set), but it isn't titled chia or anything. Its called "pl". I asked him if he we are supposed to use his roster with those sliders, and he ignored me...

Hey everyone. I rarely post here, but i'm glad to see the feedback on the roster myself and DC created. Let me know if you have any questions or comments/concerns.
As mentioned, overalls do no matter. IMO, overalls are something create for kids so they can tell who the popular players are.Comment

From DC regarding the comments on here:
I see a few people have questions.
1. For the last time, stop caring about overall ratings. That is all I am going to say about that. I really have that 2K (or any game) has overall ratings and don't explain how they are calculated. Now people look at them almost as a ranking system not realizing that the more well rounded a player is, the higher his overall will be. One way players (Amare, Dirk, Melo) will not have high overall ratings. It is simple as that. Last time I will speak on that. If someone wants to dismiss a roster because of overall ratings, then they can hook up with their man 2K Insider because we know he cares about them.
2. I am almost done with D-League ratings with HyperBaller. I don't like fictional players so I have went through and created the D-League. There is big separation between NBA Players and D-League Players. D-League players that have NBA experience will be the better D-League Players but not as good as rotation NBA Players. Also this means if you were to play a "My Player" you will no longer see these fictional characters on these summer league teams.
3. So I am kind of waiting for the editor to come out so I can do a few mass edits that I didn't feel like doing by hand. While I remember, I also went in and edited the "Shot Type" tendencies. We know how bad they were when 2K shipped the game. IE....Shaq and Dwight having high reverse pivot jumpshot tendencies. But I went through and edited everyone's (I think I did). So all shot types = 100, unless it is a big man that doesn't shoot many jumpers and I put them at 25. If he doesn't shoot any jumpers, I just put them at zero.
4. I uploaded a slider set on 2KSHare a few weeks ago. If anyone wants it, they can go search for it. My GT is: "DCAllAmerican"
I play 12 mins, all star, real shooting and real ft% ON. Clutch OFF. FT Difficulty at 80.Comment

I'm not 100% sure on that... but if its true than it just adds to the reasoning of controlling all the teams in Assoc. as the CPU is just inept at choosing players.
2k needs to change the way the CPU does things in the future... to incorporate all ratings into player selections, coaching strategies, etc....Comment

I like their approach. Overall ratings are worthless. It's how the game plays on the court that should matter.
It's just too bad this set isn't on PS3. I'm happy with the original version of the chia/DC rosters that are on PS3 though.Originally posted by bradtxmale

Overall is exactly what it means - overall ability of a basketball player. How well the score, where they score from, defense, athletic ability, size, rebound, and position all play a role.
Carmelo is the player that is most discussed, so I will use him as an example.
Offense- 85 (3rd best amoungst SF - Lebron and KD are better - is this false?)
Defense- 65 (known for NOT play defense)
REbound- 60 (top 10 within all SF's)
Keep in mind that I re-did rebound and assit ratings for EVERY player. Kev Love and Dwight are average 13+ and 12+ in association, respectively.
Players from this year's draft will be created sometime within the next couple of weeks. Me and DC are currently finishing the D-league rosters.
I use DC's slider set with a few of my tweaks. I also use my own coaches profiles. i will post those later.
I play on PC so i can only upload them onto that server. Once the xbox 360 editor comes out, i will simply copy and paste the data from my file to DC's.Comment
