Just ran another game; 1996 Chicago Bulls @ Boston Celtics; CPU vs CPU

Summary: A low scoring game for 3 quarters. But then, Jordan went off in the forth quarter finishing with 42 points, 23 in the 2nd half. The Celtics could not recover from the stretch in the late 3rd and early 4th quarter.

Thanks. It was a good came until Jordan took over. I put my 3pt slider at 40 just to see how it looked. I might move it up to 45. I'm running LA Lakers vs NJ Nets right now, i'll post those in a few.

The game I played was an NBA today game nets(me) vs heat overall great game I didn't feel like the CPU was using cheesy exploits to beat me.

One instance Bibby held the ball and chucked up a three at the buzzer but it was at the halftime mark and I was playing Lebron tight to keep him from getting the last shot so not a problem here. Third qtr they began to run away w/ the lead as James and Wade went to the bench Bosh abused Kris humphries on the block. He had about 10 points in the qtr.

4th qtr the bench closed out the game for them. Overall I loved the feel of the game. They didn't attack the basket every play, Lebron would pass to bosh at the top of the key and he would swing it up to wade. It felt very sim. Wade actually used a eurostep and I had to save the replay because it was so nice. I'll do another write up after I play tonight

^ Does the CPU not use Euro Steps on a regular basis or something? I noticed Wade Euro Stepped a lot with Chia/Hypers roster from last year. As well as Tyreke Evans.

Hyper how do you make certain players EuroStep?

We have tendencies that are based off of their abilities. For example, Wade has a "great" eurostep ability, so he would do it more often than somone who have has "good" or "average". Someone with "poor" won't do it at all.

I play on pro. I've never had a team shoot that high a percentage. You could try adjusting your sliders if you feel the percentanges are too high

Enjoying your rosters, but was wondering is there a way to have Kevin Love become a rebounding machine? I played a game and he only had 7 boards, Beaslety had 9 and Luke Ridnour almost had double figures? THought it might have to do the vertical attribute, but that wouldn't describe why Luke is out rebounding Kevin.

Guards like Ridnour getting boards like that is something I am looking into for the next update. Guards have higher quickness ratings than bigs, so they are able to move around on the floor alot faster, therefore getting more Rebs.

Its hard to get Love to hit the offensive glass is because he is a spot up shooter as well. I'll probably have to lower his spot up tendency so he can go to the rim. Also, try raising his quickness and hands rating and let me know what that does. I'll test it out too

thanks, I just raised his hands and quickness, so I'll let ya know how that turns out. But I'm also seeing this happening to me. My man drives to the basket and any contact he's turns the ball over. Doesnt matter who, my point, slasher and PF's.

I'll look into the contact issue. I raised ball handle slider to 75 and im seeing less of it

Yea, for some reason, guards get alot of rebounds in this game, especially PGs.

Quick update. I found a way to make pass-first PGs less aggressive.

I also got Love to grab 16 rebs in 2 consecutive games. It has to do with the crash board setting.

Any more feedback?

I gotta apologize, i was playing with my sliders adjusted. I totally forgot to set them back to default. I believe I had offensive rebounding at 100. So I believe that was a major part of the problem. But once I returned them to default he's been much more aggressive. So, yeah...your rosters are definitely cool with me. Played a sweet OT game against the Wizard, I was the wolves. But odd, Blanche only took 6 shots and he played 41 minutes. Ev'1 else was good. Jordan Crawford was 0 for 10 going into the fourth. And continued to shot, which was cool with me. haha, But cant wait for the complete set. I lost, but didnt feel THAT cheated,

Thats good to hear. One of the goals of this project is to have realism, whether it results in a win or loss. We aren't looking to make the game more difficult. Good teams will be good, others won't be as good.

Anyone else who test this out, I encourage you to play against the 96 Bulls and let me know how the match up went.

In the next update, I will include a few more teams as well as adjustments to the coach profiles.

Hey I tried to mimick your legends scale on my ps3 by using info from the first post and gameplay is very smooth and sim. Players actually have real strengths and weaknesses. i know overalls don't matter but I'll tell you what I came out with anyway:
D. Rose-87 , Baron Davis-75, A. Jamison-68, Boozer-71? (still effective)

I know our ratings aren't Identical but I do appreciate the updates and tips even as a ps3 user.
