Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)

Ok so now I'm having trouble saving rosters to my USB. I have modio and I thought I was doing it right. How do I get rosters saved in reditor then saved back to my USB? I've tried to edit a couple things on a roster and I thoougt I figured it out but the changes I make in reditor don't show in my rosters once loaded to my Xbox. Help?

I have Xtaf Gui and Modio.
I save the roster in REDitor, open up modio copy&paste the ID'S to make your original roster match the newest roster then rehash resign .
Open up Usb Xtaf Gui and inject and inject the roster there. Sometimes it doesn't show up because you don't give it enough time to get it onto the flash drive so I open Xtaf again just to confirm that the roster is on the drive.

I use modio as well and all I do is save the roster (keep same name, don't do save as), then open the resigner in modio. Load the file, hit rehash and resign. Then save to device. Works for me every time. Also...if you make a change such as deleting a jersey, try saving then closing the file before you load it to resign.

Ok. So there's no dragging it to the desktop or anything like that? So I open modio to load the roster off device, then open reditor and find where the roster is, make edits then save in reditor, open modio again or leave it open, resign rehash then save to device? Man that sounds complicated but I'm gonna get it gosh dang it

I just leave modio opened. Trust me, it's not as complicated as some of the REDitor edits I have tried to pull off ..lol

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)

Not to further complicate things but I drag and drop the file from Modio to desktop.

Then do my edits in reditor.

Then close the file in reditior, or close reditor totally.

Then rehash and resign the desktop file.

Then open the drive in Modio and delete the original file.

Then I drag and drop the desktop file into the drive on Modio, wait a few seconds while the desltop file is injected.

Then wait a few seconds to remove usb.

Ok so this is starting to annoy me. I get the roster into reditor and I think I'm doing edits but when I save it back to my USB there are no edits showing up on my roster. Just to make sure I'm doing this right, if I want to change a jersey for instance I have the 93 suns but their jersey is not right. It's the jersey that just says Phoenix across it. The GID for the team is 800 so I find the and then type th correct numbers for the 93 jersey but can't get it to show up. A step by step would be a big help.

Are you editing the file while it is on the drive? Im sure there is a way to do this, but follow try the instructions i provided above.

                    1. open drive in modio

                    2. locate 2k12 folder.

                    3. drag desired roster file to desktop

                    4. delete the roster file from the modio window and leave modio window open

                    5. open reditor and load the desktop roster file

                    6. find the GID of the team you want to assign the jersey to

                    7. open jersey tab and create a filter for GID=teamGID#. This will isolate that team, making it easier to see

                    8. type in the desired jersey texture in the appropriate field--the first column.

                    9. be sure that the jersey name (it is a 8-digit alphanumeric code in the field next to GID, i believe) is for current. Check the guide for the correct code for 'current' jersey.

                    10. save the file in reditor.

                    11. close the file in reditor.

                    12. open rehash/resign window in modio

                    13. from the rehash/resign window, open the desktop top roster file

                    14. click rehash/resign. once the window reads "rehashed and resigned", close the rehash/resign window

                    15. now click and drag the desktop file and drop it in the modio drive window

                    16. modio should read "injecting file...." or something

                    17. once that is completed, close the drive window

                    18. wait a few moments before removing the USB drive from computer

Also, be sure that while in the jersey tab, that the field for UseCustomColor is '0' and not '1'.

Ok I got the jerseys to work and saved to a roster. Now I just need to figure out how to make the gear for teams to be darker. For instance Olajuwon needs his elbow and knee pads to be a darker red instead of the pinkish color of red. Same for the 96 bulls. I think their red needs to be a lil darker also. Any help with those?

                        1. locate the GID of Olajuwon team you want to edit

                        2. open jersey tab

                        3. create a filter for GID=GID of Olajuwon team, this will make it easier

                        4. scroll over and find the fields for team color--it's tColorX i believe. there are six fields

                        5. each of these fields has a 6 digit, alphanumeric hex code which represents a color. (when editing in game, from the 2k menu, for each accessory there is the option of white, black, team color 1, and team color 2. I don't know if team color 1 and team color 2 correspond to the same fields in Reditor)

                        6. open up your web browser and go to this url: http://www.color-hex.com/

                        7. go back to reditor, and copy the 6-digit hex code from teamcolor1

                        8. paste this code in the text-entry field which is in the top right of color-hex.com. A color palette will drop down. If you click within and move the cursor around the color palette, the text-entry field will show a different hex color code. Also you can paste that code, and then find a darker variant with the meter on the right.

                        9. once you find one you like, copy that code (sans the hashtag) and paste it into the appropriate field in reditor

                            short answer: yes

long answer: yes, but it depends what part of the CAP, simply their player specifics (attributes, tendencies, hot spots, etc.) or faces as well? all can be done

Press and hold 'ctlr' on keyboard. Then click the Id# of the player. This selects the entire row for that player.

                                Then copy that row.

Go to other roster. Scroll down till you see ***** ******* in the name slots. Click the very first slot and paste.

Now scroll over untill you see the field for HeadShapeId. Click on the HeadshapeId field of your player and press ctrl+G on the keyboard.

This will switch you to the headshapes tab and that player's headshape id.

If the row for the player already has entries scroll till you find a row that is entirelyy empty.

When you find an entirely empty (unused) row write down the # of the row and go back to the player tab.

Put that headshape id number in the headshape I'd field. Then click on the field and press ctrl+g. This is to double chekc that you have the correct, field.

Go back to the original roster. scroll over to the player's headshapeid field.

Click on the field and press ctrl+G.

In the headshape tab, hold 'ctrl' on the keyboard and press the id# of that headshape. This will select the entire row.

                                Then copy.

Go to other roster and navigate to the headshape # in the headshape tab. Click on the very first field and the paste.
