Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
Thanks to a fellow PS3 OSer, here you go Vlad ...
Originally posted by j3nkins29When you say default roster do you mean the day 1 roster when the game came out or just a roster file that is a default 2k one. Here is a link for the 10/10 roster update on ps3. Is this what you need? I can get the other files that are needed if you need me to as well.

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
Well, the file format should be very similar to that of PC and 360 (no surprise), but files are heavily crypted.
I'm making PC & 360 version of REDitor first, then i'll see, what can be done to decrypt PS3 files. Will need your help a lot, mostly to provide me necessary files; but that's not earlier, than in February (because January is a non-working month for me due to exams).
Also, guys, if you posess any info about how the data can be potentially crypted (maybe you happened to read some useful info on other forums, or someone decrypted (not decoded, but decrypted!) files for another game), please, let me know, as this can possibly speed up the process a lot.
Take care,

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
A quick question: how do you move a file between 2 PS3s via USB stick?
I mean, what exact actions must be performed, so the file is loaded successfully on another console?
A lot depends on the answer, so, please, let me know.Comment

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
So, no need to (rehash/resign/manipulate with file in any other way with a 3rd party software) to transfer files between 2 different consoles?Comment

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
Well, it depends what you are asking.
The file will still be recognized no matter what. You will still get the file on the hard drive. Once you actually load the game, In NBA2K ONLY it says something like "This file was not created by the same user" and does not let you access that file in game.
However in any other game the file is good to go and playable.
Like I said though, the File will still copy to the hard drive and appear to be a usable file. It will even show the 2K13 picture and everything, just when you go in game a 2K error message pops up.Updates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
I do think one has to reshash and resign ... if so (am no expert tho, dont even know what or why would one do that), here is something to use as reference for that process ...
http://www.operationsports.com/forum...3-xploder.html
Differently from 360 users, I guess, we dont have a free way to rehash/resign.
In case you need futher details or files, let us know ... we (PS3 users) are more than eager to enjoy of such tool and may help you help us ...Comment

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
Have just updated the first post (forgot to do it earlier), so it reflects the newest (4.5) version of REDitor II.
As for PS3: can someone confirm, Xploder works for 2K13? Anyway, we'll get back to this point later (probably in Jan or Feb), but still would be good to know.Comment
