And some off the players that moved to new teams have the wrong numbers from joe Johnson to rookies like Austin rivers

melo and rondo are underrated
why would you put melos o awareness and on ball d so low?

Melo doesn't really play in the flow of the offense to be homest. He likes to "iso" and do his own thing, making plays when the defense keys in on him and leaves someone else wide open. He isn't a playmaker in the sense of really creating other opportunities for his team mates. His offensive awareness rating shouldn't be too high. Same for his on ball defense. If you put it too high he would be a lock down defender. Melo only plays D against certain players like LeBron because he considers it a personal challenge. Against 75% of other forwards he coasts on defense and focuses on offense. While he is a good defender overall, he does not consistently put for the effort. Lowering his on ball d is the only way to really imput this in the game.

They actually need to add in some sort of stat to control things like effort, motor, heart, etc to show playrs who either step up or choke depending on game situations and match-ups.

Good post NoLimits77, you made some great suggestions.

I agree with most of them but one I don't agree with is the Avery Bradley one. He's well deserving of his rating IMO. He showed not only the ability to outrun his opponents but also a very good three point shot and mid-range game. Not only that but he's one of the best cutters in the league and is terrific at finishing layups in traffic. His offensive game is much more polished than the avarage fan would think..

Edit: There's a reason why he beat out Ray Allen for the starting job. Not only is he a MUCH better defender but what Celtics were lacking was offense last year and he provided it just as well as Ray did.

Can i get a roster where the coaches are the real coaches? I love this roster, but when i start my association D'antoni is stil the coach.

I would like to do that but I used Bewardsroy's roster as a base and the last one he produced still had D'Antoni as the coach and if I were to do that just for the coaches it would take me about 60 hours again to get everything back to where it is. Sorry!

When the rosters are completely set and free agency dies down I will go through and do the numbers all at once but until then I am just going to leave it. As for the ratings I will look into it and see. Thanks for the feedback!

The person who posted about Melo pretty summed up my feelings about him and with Rondo I feel he is pretty accurate. What do you have against that rating?

about players that in 2nd year and cannot be changed like kyrie, why not simulate a season then export the team? i think that will do the trick. If that will be done, i think this will be the most association ready roster, because of the ratings are good for 2-3 years more. except for lebron and some that will hit 99 rating i think...but most of the rosters will do the same thing i think

That's what the Knicks would have to pay Lin if they matched the offer, the nubmbers are different for Houston its like 8mil a year or something I have to recheck the details.

If I'm not mistaken when teams match an offer made to a player the terms have to be exactly as what was offered. Hence the term "match". The Knicks would have ended up paying like $30 Mil in the third year of the contract because they would have been paying the luxury tax.
