If I'm not mistaken when teams match an offer made to a player the terms have to be exactly as what was offered. Hence the term "match". The Knicks would have ended up paying like $30 Mil in the third year of the contract because they would have been paying the luxury tax.

Actually, Lins contract will be a 8-8-8 cap hit for the Rockets but that's not how they will pay him. They'll pay him 5-5-15 in reality but the cap hit will only be 8 million each year. This will be the same with Asiks deal so that should be adjusted in this roster. Since it's really the cap hit that's being counted in 2k..

Yea exactly and the amount of the cap hit is all that is important in trades or other cap maneuvers...not the actual dollars. Checking out the roster now though.

Awesome! I know you're going to do numbers altogether, but if possible I have a very small request. On the Raptors, can you change Fields' number to 9 (he's likely the starting SF btw) and Ross' to 31? Also for Acy, can you remove his secondary SF position?

I make these adjustments each time I download an update and it would save me a tiny bit for time. Thanks if you can get them in for this next update

The Cavs claimed Jon Leuer off waivers, so it's the same 1 year deal he already had.

Did Phoenix ever sign someone to get rid of the Free Agent player? I saw where the Bulls signed someone so I didnt know, lol. Im wanting to start an association soon with these.

No the Suns have not unfortunately, and they are the last team that is under 12 players haha.

Haha its starting to get a tiny bit annoying, they have 4 players they can sign still which is very strange.
