I just dont understand why "2k" if they are the reason for the HEX edit issues we are having would want to corrupt something that makes there game alot better and enjoyable. I mean why have the ability to share rosters if your gonna cut off alot of us who share and download HEX rosters. I would understand if it took money out of the companies pocket but its something that alot of guys take alot of there time to do for everyone to enjoy, its not a good look unless 2k plans on blind sideing everyone with some true roster updates this year instead of the usuall bland useless rosters they put out.

Yeah this is crazy. It looks like if you want to use a halfway decent roster (ie. the user made rosters) you have to jump through hoops. I don't see the big issue with using hexed, user-made rosters. 2K still gets their $60 for the game. Makes no sense.

My take

Its not stopping us from making the game better that's the issue

You won't see them gimp the PC version from mods

My guess is that its something a few guys do that could be legally borderline a problem... in this case a few could spoil it for the bunch

The file still comes up as damaged even after rehashing and reloading in game several times. Hmm. I have some more ideas. I'll try again later.

You have to use Chromes resigner.

from what i understand you put the file on the pc, use chrome's resigner, then modio rehash and resign to match id's and then enjoy

My bad on the 2k share you may need to use chromes.

However, he can upload the same file he's putting on 2k share to somewhere like a filedropper.com and all you need to do is rehash and save it.

I uploaded a file to 2k share it wouldn't work for buddy, so I uploaded it to filedropper.com and all he had to do was rehash and it worked fine.

The entire situation is a pain.

Can someone try uploading the file to 2kshare if this works? Maybe the rest of us can download it then.

Before I say this let me say I love hex rosters and use them exclusively.

With that said, people are technically hacking 2k's intellectual property when they create hex rosters so 2k has the right to restrict them from being able to use their servers to distribute the files.

If you guys want the rosters, you should learn how to use the resign/rehash tools.

since this is still a issue im gonna use the filedropper.com thelorn mentioned and will let u guys know when the file is up.

if all goes well with this i will release v3 the same way. (will still put on 2kshare but in case this problem persists will use continue to use filedropper.com)

Just don't forget to use chromes before you upload so they don't have to.
