    we cant see any of the data like jerseys because there is no file to open for that...the xbox peeps use usb xplorer to get a .ROS file and they can get everything...ps3 files just wont let us do that..i think u guys r mis understanding the hex editing part..the only thing that ps3 useres can hex edit is the year/game year..thats it..there is no file in the folder that lets us access all the good stuff

        let me be clearer.......
        xbox use usb xplorer to explore the files on the usb, and get the raw file that u can hex edit all that good stuff.

        if we get something like usb xplorer i bet we can hex edit for ps3

          Just to clarify...

          1. It is NOT possible to use saves of one year NBA with another year game. Each year file format is (completely) different, so the game will just say "File is corrupted".

          2. Thanks to bigdoc22 for the files. From what i can say, it is possible to edit PS3 saves, but not possible until the file (the one called USERDATA) is decrypted. I (probably together with a couple of cryptography specs) will work on the issue in spring, when the new REDitor for PC and 360 is good enough. The probability of finding a way to decrypt it is rather high, but needs quite a lot of work.

          Until spring then. (unless someone else cracks the ecnryption method earlier)

            actually that is not entirly true..i was able to hex edit a 13 file in to 12..and i loaded it on my ps3 with no problem, it was no corrupted..but i could not load it into nba 2k12 but it was not because it was corrupted..it was a different error
