The Suns drafted him in my association too. He backed up Dragic the 1st season and now he's starting after Dragic tore his ACL 25 games into the season. Can't wait to see how he finishes the year running the team. Averaged 6 PPG and 3 APG his rookie season and now he's at 8 and 5 after 36 games.

What I like to do is go head up vs teams with starting draft class prospects. Next time you see Phoenix on your schedule play em and tell me how Packett played. We like to hear from both ends of the spectrum.

The guy is a stud. He has one more slot open for sig skills and I'm hoping he develops Floor General or Dimer.

Yeah that's why I'm gonna send him to Combo Guard camp again this offseason. That, combined with his natural progression, should have his passing at 90+ in his 2nd pro year.

These games are different from the previously show All-American games, in these games you will get a chance to see 48 out of the 80 players in each draft. Hey guys I don't want to sound like I'm rushing, just curious what the ETA is on Draft 5? I'm itching to play with Dre Redd and/or Chris Bishop, plus Ryan Stafford's D sounds exciting. Hope he declares.

Lol no problem miz468. I went out of town for a week so I had to take a break from the classes. I'm back on it but we probably won't be looking at a release until late next week. Its going to be worth the wait though man! I may release the who's going back to school section sometime this week just so people get a good idea of who's declaring and who's not. Not sure of an eta yet my man work on Draft Class 5 is in motion tho we had to take a quick step back to catch our breathe and actually enjoy a bit of the project ourselves. It's been pretty much typing, creating classes, and testing for 2 to 3 months without actually sitting down and playing..this can be a drag even to those as dedicated to the project as me and Sapp. We should have a clearer answer this weekend

Loving the draft classes! It's awesome being able to view the slide show as your prepare for the draft and get a different outlook on players beyond what scouts are giving you.

I've had some amazing and surprising outcomes on my end of the 1st and 2nd drafts! 1st draft I had Justin Washington fall to me at the 15th pick, what a steal - ROY averaging 17.7 PPG and 5.2 REB. On the 2nd draft i had DJ Carter slip to me at the 5th pick(Raptors pick from Monta Ellis trade previous year)!

Is anyone else getting these unpredictable results!?! I thought for sure Justin Washington was going top 5 and DJ was going #1. I didn't event scout DJ due to thinking he was going #1 from the beginning, definitely convinced it was a safe pick from the slide show though! Hopefully he's content being my sixth man all year or I might have to explore some trade option moving either him or Brandon Jennings.

great job on the draft classes.

I like your fictional draft classes a whole lot better than the ones that use real prospects, because its hard to find one with real prospects that's an accurate portrayal of how the draft might go, and the computer generated ones are blah.

Glad you are enjoying everything. The draft in 2k is very unpredictable so my advice to all 2k association users is to check out the powerpoint, use your scouting points, and check out the new Draft Class Scrimmages! We now provide the most in depth scouting tools for you to make your association enjoyable again don't miss out!

So I decided to do a SuperSonics Association (traded everybody on Kings to Sonics) where I purely built through the draft, because signing FA is easy and I haven't used DC4 yet, and there were a lot of players I wanted to play with.

The only player left from the original Kings is DeMarcus Cousins. I used a '13 DC in Year 1 and picked up Nerlens Noel (#6) and Ben McLemore (#9).

Anyway... On to what you guys care about. I had three first round picks for DC4: #3, #4 and #27, as well as the 13th pick in the 2nd round. I wanted Ahmad Harmon badly (duh), but Detroit scooped him up 1st overall. Here's how my draft went:

- #3 overall: James Sterling, PG, Cal (90 ballhandling and passing, along with a decent shot and 95 speed??? Nice. Oh yeah, the Floor General and Dimer sig skills are good to have too. )

- #4 overall: Newly Cox, SG, Army (This guy's defensive stats are money, and I don't need him to start right away so I can work on his offensive game. Size is also a plus. I moved him to SF and he got a 3-point overall boost, but I feel comfortable moving him back to SG if need be.)

- TRADE: The Seattle SuperSonics have traded SG Marcus Thornton to the Utah Jazz for the draft rights to the #8 overall pick, PF Nini Gibson out of LSU. (I had a logjam on the wing and Thornton was the odd man out. Gibson is rated lower at 69 overall, but I like his size, his game, his potential, his name, and the fro of course.)

- #27 overall: Vince Adkins, PF, George Mason (He was projected to go at the end of the 2nd round when the season started, but after some thorough scouting, it was apparent he was worth an earlier pick. His 79 3PT rating is more than adequate, and when you combine that with a sweet shooting stroke as well as the Microwave and Spot Up Shooter sig skills, he's a danger to score anywhere on the court. Plus, he's got good potential.)

- #43 overall: Donnell Hickson, C, St. Mary's (This is a guy I originally planned on picking up near the end of the first round and potentially developing into a starter one day, for me or someone else. However, scouting showed that his potential was very low, and he has no offensive game at all. Still, he was still around at the 13th pick of Round 2, and I like his size and defensive potential, so I scooped him up. He's a 64 OVR, which is one of the higher ratings of 2nd-round players, but his potential really is bad. He'll see some minutes as the 4th post player in my rotation.)

So here's my rotation to start the season, with minutes in parentheses:

So as you can see, the players you spent lots of time and hard work creating will get lots of PT for my young Sonics this year. Adkins only gets two minutes now, but I'll manually sub him in during the right situations. Hopefully he'll earn more PT.

Note: I put all that in spoiler tags for anyone that hasn't used DC4 yet, because I discuss a few specific ratings for some players, and I talk about one guy who shoots up draft boards and one who falls a little. So if you don't want to be spoiled on DC4, you've been warned.

This maybe a dumb question but when you say draft class 1, is that for 2013? DC2-2014, DC3-2015 and so on..
I just picked up NBA 2k13 and i love franchise style play and playing for a few seasons building a team so i just want to know the best drafts to download.

The work you guys put in on rosters is amazing.

that dictates what order to use them in. they CAN be used in different orders but for the purpose of the longevity, storylines & accurate scouting; you would likely want to use them in order (1, 2, 3 etc.)

we also have a Real draft class for 2013 if you would like to start with that one & then go to the fictionals BUT of course jumping straight into these fictionals would likely be even more rewarding.
