Question: Will you continue doing the player write-ups on the first page like you did last year and all of the classes for 2k12? I love the PowerPoint addition but the write-ups were/are honestly my favorite because it gives insight onto the players outside of basketball which makes using them so much more fun and engrossing; specifically with players with cool stories like Adam Cameron (FD1), Chris Bishop (FD6), Bill Potter (FD4), or the "New Fab Five" from FD9. Will continue to use these either way but just letting you know people do actually read them incase you were second guessing.

Yes we will be still be doing write-ups for the classes. I'm not sure if we're gonna go to the extent of the 2k12 write-ups because we want to add more to the TOTAL presentation of each class. Stay tuned Draft Class 3 gonna be sick.

BTW I'm using the Bucks also in my association who did you select from DC1 and who you looking @ in DC2?

What up Ecclipse. I'm so glad that you reminded me about the write ups. I honestly did one for draft class 2 and I got so consumed in the rest of it, it just sat there in a document on my computer. As soon as I get home tonight I will post it.

And Dre Redd is... let's say that he's a different guy lol. I decided to use him and Chris Bishop once again and they will both once again have very unique back stories. Once again, I really appreciate the posts, downloads and messages of support. Draft Class 3 is coming along well as Dreece stated. Got big things coming. But the write up will be up tonight man.

DJ Carter.... if you haven't heard that name by now you either don't watch college basketball or you've been living under a rock all year. DJ Carter is a National Champion, All American and the player of the year. On top of those accomplishments, you won't find many people that know anything about basketball who do not think Carter is the unanimous number one player in the draft. Carter is not only great on both sides of the ball, he is a leader. "Even as a sophomore, players rallied around the kid" teammate Michael Smith said". He's just got the personality where he wants everyone. Around him to excel and he does whatever he needs to do to make that happen. Carter scored twenty plus points in each tournament game along with 3 steals and definitely confirmed his player of the year award. I don't care who you have on our team: if you're in position to get Carter, get him.

Shooting Guard
Harold Thompson out of Alabama is predicted to go in the Top 5. But who exactly is Harold Thompson. His freshman year, Thompson came in a celebrated recruit and was expected to get early playing time. However, Thompson was often pulled from games early and seen arguing with coaches on the bench. Even with the decreased playing time, Thompson still managed to make the NCAA All Freshman Team with a very strong finish last year. This year, Thompson has shown much more maturity but still has some issues to iron out according to some. Many believe that he is ready for the big stage however. “I know him personally, and I don’t want to put his business out there, but there are other things in life that cause people to act a certain way” Florida guard Dontae Berry said. “I wish that people would give him a break and try to understand that he is not a bad kid. I think he is already showing major improvement and will continue to do so once he gets to the league”. Maturity questions aside, Thompson averaged 16.9 ppg , 2.9 rpg and 1.2 apg and Second Team All American honors. When asked about how he felt about his perceived maturity issues Thompson stated “I produce… .what else could people possibly want me to do”. We should see Thompson go somewhere in the top 5 on draft night.

Small Forward
To put it simply, Florida Forward Vincent Berry loves contact. Although he played the 3 and 4 in college, one place where you could consistently find him is the paint. "He loves contact" Florida teammate Tobias Mason said. "He's 230 lbs but thinks he's a damn center sometimes. As long as he's bumping bodies down low he's happy". Maybe loving contact just runs in the family. Vincent is the younger cousin of former Tennessee standout football player Eric Berry. When asked about his cousin, Eric Berry stated "He's bruised me up a few times to be honest. I think if he's put in the right situation, he can be an immediate contributor in the pros". Berry averaged 14.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.7 blocks per game during his sophomore season and is predicted to go in somewhere between pick number 5 - 8.

Power Forward
John Newton is simply one of the nicest guys that you will ever meet. The soft spoken power forward out of Kansas State enjoys participated in community events, volunteering wherever possible and pretty much just brightening up the spirits of others. “I just love to see people smile. That is part of the reason why I chose to play sports when I was in school. I just wanted to be around others, have fun and be a good teammate and friend”. But playing sports is more of a privilege to Newton than it is a hobby. Two years, it was discovered that Newton was born with an abnormal heart valve. Although he never experienced any real chest pains, his minutes were decreased somewhat this year. “You just feel bad for him” Oklahoma State center Dominique Watkins stated. I don’t know him to well but I know that he seems to be a good person. I just hope that his career isn’t cut short or limited too much because of his condition”. EVEN with his minutes decreased, Newton came second for player of the year in the conference and honestly could have battled DJ Carter for player of the year if he was used to his full potential. It seems that Newton would easily be a top 5 pick if not for the heart condition. As it is, he will more than likely fall in to the lottery. We will all be rooting for him.

Center
In a sea of good centers, Ohio State’s Noah Simmons seems to be the best available in this year’s draft. Simmons is a coach’s dream as he plays harder than anyone on the court no matter the competition. “To have a kid with this type of talent stay at your program for three years is pretty rare” Ohio State coach Thad Matta said. “It has been a pleasure to have him here as he had made many of the other players better just by continuously putting forth 110 percent effort no matter the situation. A true leader leads by example and this kid is a true leader”. While Simmons does need to work on his offensive game, he may be the best defender in the draft. Simmons averaged 14.9 ppg , 7.9 rpg and 3.2 bpg on his way to winning defensive player of the year. When asked about how he became such a good defender Simmons said “My bigger brothers never passed me the ball when we played at home. So for years, I simply focused on stopping them from scoring”. And I guess the rest is history. Simmons should go very early on draft night.

Pretty excited about my Nets association with these rosters. I took the approach of gutting the team (as I think they are just LOADED with bad contracts) and amazingly got 6 first round draft picks by the time it was over. Only 2 of the 6 ended up being lottery picks but I got very lucky to draw the #2 pick out of one of them. My picks were 2,7,18,23,25,and 28. Used #2 on Brandon Lewis and got VERY lucky that Justin Washington dropped all the way to #7....made a deal with Cleveland for Jarvis Martin as well for the 18 & 23 and Reggie Evans...and will use the ton of cap space on hopefully a Chris Paul...cant wait!

Whoa that's a lot of gutting lol. I always say It's easy to pick the draft class elite...my question to you is who did you take with 25, and 28? You gonna need some role players with all that youth

Picked up Tristan Holmes 25 and Tobias Mason 28, also got Egor Alenichev in the 2nd round

In DC1 I got Brandon Lewis who was decent but I traded him with hopes that Carter would be the player I could build around. Also got Sterling and have him making it rain coming off the bench.

In DC2 I traded up for the third projected pick in hopes I could then trade that for DJ Carter when he inevitably went first because the dude just seemed like a straight beast and I got lucky and won the first pick. Needless to say I'm very happy with him as my starter (Ellis and Jennings both gone). Also acquired Noah Simmons via trades and have him manning the paint.

If you guys need any help with player stories, write-ups, reviews...etc please let me know I'd be more than happy to help. Writing essays...etc is the only thing that got me a passing grade in high-school and I'm a huge sports fan so if you guys need the help I can put those two together lol.

@Ecliipze I see ya interest in DJ was strong enough to trade a franchise big man in Lewis. You should always give 1st round picks a couple seasons to come into there own. DJ a great player tho so im not knocking your logic. If you dont mind let me know the rest of your lineup I'm interested

Had a glitch with the association, much to my chagrin because it was going to well, that would freeze upon entering free agency in my fourth or fifth year. Don't remember the exact roster but it was mainly youth with high athleticism that focused on speed and bruising defense like most of my teams. Think of the "Boy Boys" Pistons with a little more speed but still young in terms of overall skill.

Just started a Bulls team not to long ago with the intention of playing more on Rose having a bigger injury and blowing up the core roster. Doing this because I like Rose but hate Noah more than any player in the league so the only way I can use Rose is to get rid of Noah.
