Andrew Bogut was #1 in 2005 and Dante Exum is expected to be #3-#5 in 2014, or #1 if he waits until 2015 (I guess you could have also counted Irving as Australian if he had chosen to play for our national team).

I know you guys added some second round Australian prospects last year, but in one of the classes this year could there be a prospect that's top 3-10?

OK. I love that people would like to help with stories and what not, BUT I'm gonna be straight since Sapp is Mr. Modest

This project is ridiculously detailed in the story/bio sections and it's gonna take a special amount of dedication to do it properly. We had a few guys that tried there hand at it but it wound up being more overwhelming than anticipated

With all that being said PM Sapp with your thoughts and we go from there

NO MORE SHARING THE SPOTLIGHT FOR KURTIS HOLDEN

So much talent has come through Chapel Hill in the past four years. Throughout that time though, one thing has been the same and that is that Kurtis Holden would be starting at that Power Forward position when the tip off came. Starting from the very beginning and never missing a game, we have seen the kind hearted but tenacious player grow before our eyes. For the first time in his career, he is without a doubt THE GUY on the team. I got a chance to talk with Holden about the upcoming season.

Sapp: A lot of people don’t know that I actually got the chance to meet you several years ago when you and the Tar Heels took on Cincy in the National Championship a few years ago.

Holden: Ughhh, do not remind me.

Sapp: I know, but hey man… you played well and that tournament kind of really put you on the map.

Holden: Yeah, but who wants to lose. And then there was last year.

Sapp: I really thought if you and Justin Copeland were getting to get a championship together, last year would have been the time.

Holden: That makes two of us.

Sapp: Speaking of Copeland, it is no secret that you two did not get along. No one seems to be afraid to say that he is just a hard person to get along with. Would you say that?

Holden: Chris you know me. As easy as it would be to sit here and put all of our dirty laundry out there, that is not who I am.

Sapp: I mean, half of the laundry is already sitting on the lawn.

Holden: *sternly* I’m not doing that man.

Sapp: Fair enough. So Copeland is gone, you are here…. What else does North Carolina have right now?

Holden: Well we have a good team every year.

Sapp: But this year, you are the only star Kurtis. I am not trying to put down your fellow teammates but I am being honest with you. There are no other well known NBA prospects on this team.

Holden: That’s where you are wrong. Not much has been said about Sian Strickland that is a freshman on this year’s team but he is going to be the future of the Tar Heels.

Sapp: And what about you Kurtis. This is your last year and the first time that it is your team. How is this year going to be different from the rest?

Holden: I feel that it is going to be more difficult because there will obviously be a bit more responsibility put on me but I feel like I can do it. And I also really feel like you are underestimating us as a team.

Sapp: Prove it to me. But look, I want to give the fans the opportunity to learn more about Kurtis Holden the person so I’ve placed a bunch of questions in this hat and I want you to pick three out.

Holden: Cool *picks the first one and hands it to Sapp*

Sapp: If you could date any musician/artist who would it be?

Holden: Kelly Rowland. Oh my gosh, Kelly Rowland. And I don’t even mind her fake…..

Sapp: I’m going to stop you there and move on to the next question.

Sapp: What is something that people would be shocked to know about you.

Holden: I like Twilight.

Sapp: Ummm, the movie Twilight?

Holden: Yes and the books. Is there a problem?

Holden: Just give me the damn hat so I can pick out the next question *reaches in hat*.

Sapp: If you could be anyone but yourself, who would you be?

Holden: Oh man, that is a tough one.

Sapp: Seriously, I don’t even know how I would answer that one my friend.

Holden: Ok, if I could be anyone except myself…. I would be….

Sapp: I can give you a different question….

Holden: No, no, I got this. I would be Martin Luther King, but with the knowledge of the assassination. That way I could prevent it, and continue to spread the good that he was giving to the world.

Sapp: Interesting answer kid. Kurtis thanks for being here.

Holden: No wait… what about you. I want to know who you would be?

Sapp: It’s not my interview but whatever, I’ll bite. If I could be anyone but me, I would be Professor X…. because who the hell wouldn’t want to be the leader of the X-Men.

Holden: That’s just weird. He’s not even real.

Kentucky is out to prove they are back but they aren't the only ones making a statement

For the past for years Kentucky has seemed to be so far away from the days of Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe, Davis, Kidd-Gilchrist. Recently they have proved to have talent but appeared to have a difficult time pulling it together. While the team is only five games in to the season they are really looking like a new team. Last night the Wildcats moved to 5 - 0 after a ten point victory against Wake Forest. The team was led by their leader, point forward Byron Augustin who had 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Freshman forward Tony Clemons and freshman guard Tyronn Anthony both added 15 points. But wait.... Kentucky wasn't the only team playing last night.

After falling to 3 and 2, Wake Forest seems to have an absolute star in Darius Player. Player didn't get much love in high school due to the fact that he was on and off teams in high school moving from school to school. Most recently, Darius Player was kicked off the team after being in a stolen vehicle with two friends. The school stated that it was Player's "third warning". It has been less than a month but as of now, the only noise that Player is making is on the court. Player logged 24 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals against the 14th ranked Wildcats. We are really going to have to keep an eye out for this guy.

The final score was 77 - 67.

RAY RAY FRANCIS HAS NEVER EVEN HEARD OF THE TERM “SOPHOMORE SLUMP”

So what do you do after posting almost 20 points and 8 boards a game and being named as a second team All American? Well you go out and do it again of course. Ray Ray Francis was the number one high school prospect coming out a couple years ago and has not disappointed since he has stepped foot on the Stanford campus. Although the team has suffered a couple of tough losses, they are standing at 7 and 2 and Francis has been nothing short of amazing. In the last three games Francis has scored 21, 29 and 26 respectively. “I just try not to think about my own numbers” Francis said when asked about his superb play at the beginning of this year. “As long as we are getting the win I don’t care what my stat line says”.

While Francis knows how to give the cliché answer, deep down he is quite aware that he can and will put up impressive numbers whenever he feels like it. I can’t remember the last time we have seen a center that is skilled in the post and can hit the jumper from basically anywhere on the court. He can score thirty with his back to the basket and turn around and hit 30 from behind the arc. At the moment, Francis is averaging 22.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per game and is without a doubt on the player of the year list. Only time will tell if he can keep this up and if this is the last season that he will be wearing a Stanford uniform.

Usually I don't entertain these type of questions but to be honest I'm ready to get this draft class project OFFICIALLY up and running so we can see what you guys think about our 1st batch of players. We talked about it and we agreed that it will be within the next 2 weeks because of slight adjustments that needs to be made to compliment the game engine. Until then check out the 1st page of the thread periodically to check out the stories, interviews, and of course games, and highlight of the players in the upcoming draft class.

Thanks guys! Trust and believe we are working very hard to catch up to where we left off in 2k13. Sapp just released our top 50 high school players and I urge everyone to check out the list because believe it or not that's some of the players who will be playing for you franchises on day soon

I've been using your draft classes for a while now. Their excellent! But to the point. For a storyline in one of your classes you should have someone not particularly scouted much in highschool. Goes to a low level college, like rice for example. And they should have a fantastic college season and become the consensus number 1 pick! Idk if that would fit in your stuff but it seems I don't think it's happened in real life and could be an interesting thing to see happen for these.
