So stoked to use this class, honestly thinking about starting my real association and going to take my celts to the bottom of the league and drafting Whakil in the second year. And CWSapp and Dreece is Whakil able to play the 2 or should I keep at the point and move Cameron to the 2?

Scouting is your best friend my man. And me personally I wouldn't run them in the same backcourt..two alpha males that both need the ball in there hands to get the stats they deserve. Cameron should be a starter on one team and Blackshear on another. Where is everybodies sense of competition these days?? Blackshear wouldn't want to play with Cam anyway..him and Devon from the old school, where you didn't team up with the better players, you kicked they @$$&$!

Oh we good to go bro. The signing of Lamarcus Aldridge and continuing to put solid pieces(Darius Player, Vergil Anderson) around him will leave us in great shape. I feel like I can make a championship run this season with that squad, heck in the simulation they lost in game 7 in the Finals last year. All in all I can't wait to pick the sticks back up. Time to eat and kick somebody butt lol.

I record all my played games. I played Dallas last week so thats uploaded. I got Denver next so I'm bout to kick on them then I will post both updates tomorrow afternoon. Denver has Hector Garrison, Almondo Galloway, Bryce Bayless on the squad so our classes is well represented. If I'm not to tired I'm play the Knicks also, they have Elliot Barnes, Sapp's boy Kenneth Carter, Joel Embiid(vtcrb 2014) so we should have some entertaining matches.

lol my internet been acting crazy all night lol. Power outtages whie I was trying to finish up the class smh. So I'm using my phone as a hotspot myself, gotta love technology lol. I haven't used or played against Carter yet. I hope he brought his hard hat with him because as soon as his little behind steps on the court you can best believe that I'm sending Aldridge in the post. Then the double team starts, then we go bombs away from deep lol...watch out for Chip Kelley in that matchup to put up big numbers of the bench!

Hey Sapp just looking over the scouting report. Quick question in regards to a players "% of reaching potential ceiling" is that the new way of putting the potential bar in the graph or are there other factors that will affect this category?

What’s up guys. I wanted to answer Blindside’s question and say a couple of other things real quick regarding draft class 6. As Blindside stated, there is a new addition to the profile pages for each player. Each player has a section that states his “player’s current status”, “player’s potential ceiling” and “chance of reaching potential ceiling”. The assumption that you have regarding what these categories represent is more than likely correct. In real life, the draft is about assessing these three categories and making a decision. With that being said, let us look at the different ratings or “statuses” that you will see in the scouting report.

Legend (ex. Michael Jordan)
Franchise Player (ex. Kevin Durant)
Superstar (ex. Carmelo Anthony)
All Star (ex. LaMarcus Aldridge)
High Profile Starter (ex. Paul Millsap)
Starter (ex. Jimmy Butler)
Sixth Man
Top of the Bench
Middle of the Bench
Bottom of the Bench
Almost NBA Ready
Not NBA Ready
Far From NBA Ready

(Note – I only included examples for the higher statuses because that seems to be where people have the most difficulty separating. I believe the ratings below starter are pretty self explanatory).

The first section (player current status) is where the player stands coming in to the league. The second section (chance of reaching potential ceiling) is the best possible scenario for that individual. So for example, Player A may have a rating coming out of the draft that would categorize him as Almost NBA Ready (57 – 59 overall range to give you an idea) but his potential ceiling is “starter”. That would be a pretty big jump and he would definitely be a steal somewhere in the draft. That is where the last category comes in to play.

“Chance of reaching potential ceiling” is represented with a percentage. As easy as it is to look at this number as something I simply threw in there, please understand that these percentages are indeed based off of something. Obviously SOME of them are thrown in there to throw you off to represent real life but there is a lot of truth and meaning in this rating. If a player’s potential ceiling is a “high profile starter” and the chance of reaching potential ceiling is 95%, you can draft that player and be pretty darn confident that he will eventually develop in to a high profile starter. However, if the chance of reaching potential ceiling is listed as…. Let’s say 50%.....there is a good chance that he won’t reach that ceiling. A big factor (but not only factor) in how I calculated this number was the assessment and comparison of the different potential ratings for each player in each of the three versions of the class.

I thought that this addition would make things more interesting. I’d be interested to see what you guys think about it though.

Also, I plan on catching up on a few things and putting some things in place for the next few draft classes this week. In addition, I want to post a couple of recordings for you guys in the next few days. I really hope to hear stories from everyone about how their Association is going. Let’s keep the thread jumping this week fellas!

I was just looking through it and I saw that when you put your additional Sapp Rankings for every player after the pg's section the position for every single player is labeled as a SG. Just figured I would let you know. An example is Domingo Garcia. Position: PF. And your additional rankings say Offensive Ranking among all players: #15; Offensive Ranking Among SGs: #2

"Not being rude", but yet saying "I think you were lazy." How about saying I think you might have missed and made a mistake on the scouting reports cause blah blah...

Remember these guys don't have to do any of this. They are doing it cause they want people to enjoy and have fun. Calling them lazy doesn't really make it fun or entice them to keep doing it.
