Just wondering if anyone could give me the inside scoop on these players. *not looking for ratings/potential, but just how they are and what they're like

I have Kurtis Holden in my association atm. And he is solid from day one. Excellent post defender. Solid rebounder. I run a lot of pick and rolls through him and he can take it to the rack nice and strong in most cases. Also a great passer out of the post. He's actually ranked 3rd in assists on my squad. Hopefully that doesn't ruin anything for anyone else. And helped you in some way. I'll leave the other two up to others as I haven't used either. Do you have Sapps scouting reports?

Nahh fair enough man. I don't know what the CPU gets upto but Holden should be too 5 in my opinion. He is capable of doing everything

I've been lucky enough to get Strickland but I haven't really gave him a big chunk of minutes, he gets like 5-7 minutes a game. However he's a rebounding machine & from time to time I reward his hard work by running the pick & roll with him. If you use him correctly he can be a great role player.

Yea man me and Sapp was talking earlier and I mentioned a few things about draft logic and team building. If I'm not mistaken didn't 2k have team roles in the past (rebuilding, championship contender, etc) but if u look at the cpu transactions you can tell when they are shedding salaries and about to lose free agents

If I'm not mistaken didn't 2k have team roles in the past (rebuilding, championship contender, etc) but if u look at the cpu transactions you can tell when they are shedding salaries and about to lose free agents

I don't honestly recall seeing those roles but I only started at 2k11. I always had nba live before that. Was a sucker for the individual chemistries. Which is something that 2k needs it would make for more fun building teams.

Haha they were in a terrible cap position to. Horford and Millsap were both on astronomical deals. And I'd just signed Holden to roughly $60 mil. So gonna have to make a few more deals tonight just to fit Whakil into the roster so he gets the touches he needs.

Lol I don't even know what happened with Che. I tried so many defenders on him. In the end Augustin shut him down in the fourth. And we ended up winning by like 30 points or something. Tinsley is on fire!!!

Man blindside, the Kings huh? Challenge accepted.

I started the first season as of today in rl. They ended up getting the number two pick going into 2014 draft. I started with dc 1. I'm limited to one trade between now and next offseason. With such a high pick my priority was to unload some of these ugly contracts. I was able to get my pg for the future with the second pick by taking Mr Adam Cameron and not have to worry about resigning Thomas and put myself even worse in the hole. Later in the Draft I was able to get my fave player Byron Augustin. After the raptors took him at 11, I traded jimmer, Thompson, outlaw, and Landry for Augustin, amir Johnson, and Hansbrough. That got me my fav player and cleared two ugly contracts off the books. Not bad for one trade. Couldn't do anything in fa with no money to spend. So on to 2014-15 we go.

For training camp I did combo guard on Cameron and shooting on Augustin. This year might be rough but Rudy's contract is gone after this year. Will be 30mil under cap space.

For me personally I never got on the Adam Cameron train. I much prefer his brother. But definitely some good early moves. What are your future goals?

Replacing Derrick Williams at PF will be the number one task next offseason. And I have to decide if I want to let Rudy walk. With Augustin I am very tempted to do it. But he is much better when I play with him than the computer, so not sure he is ready for starter role just yet.

As for Cameron he can do lots of things pretty good like rebound, defense, and pass. However, I do have some trouble with his shot and he isn't my favorite PG to play with. But he filled a great need at PG, as I didn't want to resign Thomas to a big deal. Could be a case of later on I flip him for something else. Not sure. Having Cousins wrapped up for 4 more years in a team friendly deal helps staying under the tax level much easier. Will be interesting to see how I can spend that cap space next offseason.

How is your dynasty coming with the Raptors? Haven't seen an update in awhile. I need to update mine since DC 6 is out now and I can start the 2019-2020 season.

Oh man there hasn't been one. I was away for a week with an internet connection that was offline more than it was on. I simmed a lot of the next season and made it back to the playoffs but ultimately lost to Melo & the Kings.

I'm thinking about starting up new anyways. I want to take the Knicks in their current disaster of a situation and just blow it up. Gonna wait and see what happens at the trade deadline first.

Now you know at some point if time and resources allow we gotta see a Dreece 5 vs Sapp 5. Everybody know that'd be a highlight! All star weekend baby haha
